Bit of a rant

Okay, this is going to be a bit of an angry posting, but I just need to vent here.

My last three stories, Art Class, Time Flies, and The Blue Moon Brings Death have all gotten several dislikes, and not one bit of constructive criticism. I will admit, I am a little pissed off about that.

But I'm mostly irritated with myself for allowing myself to be bothered by that. I've long ago learned (or should have learned that) other people's opinions shouldn't really matter, as long as you're doing what you like.

And I like to write. And I like my character, Phillip Finder. And I like the stories that I write, because they all come from my head, from my imagination, and because I put work into them.

And I like that there are some people who evidently like my work. I wouldn't have likes and watchers if no one did, nor would people be faving my stories on deviantArt or watching me there is they didn't. And those are the reasons that I'm going to keep working.

And as for the guys who are downvoting: What's the matter? Don't like my OC? Don't like my stories? Or are you just trolling me cause I'm a new author and that makes me an easy target?

Well, you can go buy some apples for all I care. I put a lot of work into my stories, and I'm not going to have them ruined for some wanker like you.

Okay, I needed to get that out there.

And as for my watchers: what do you guys think? Do you read and enjoy my stories, and what do you think of my OC? Are there areas where I can improve? Something you're confused about or want to ask me? Go ahead. Positive, constructive criticism is always accepted.
