So it looks like The Other Other · 8:14pm Oct 17th, 2014
Has been a dud... more or less.
Which is pretty much what I expected. It is a dark rated E for everyone story and it was never intended to be an overly serious work of fiction, it was mostly written on a lark using cut content from The Chase and my copious notes.
I've actually had a lot of fun writing it, it certainly has a simpler approach, the dialogue in minimalistic and childish, and there is a certain delightful... well, I dunno what it is, but there is something that appeals to me.
Very much like Suicide by Goddess, it was something I mostly wrote for myself for kicks.
For those of you who have enjoyed it, thanks for giving it a read.
The last chapter will be up in a day or two.
Gah - how did I miss this. Off to read. Yay!
Just can't win em all it seems. I personally cannot see Why it isn't liked more.
I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I usually wait for stories to hit 10k words most of the time.

Oh this one will never get that far. It is almost complete, Short story. About 5k once finished.
2539384 Well complete also works out as well. My reading goes a bit erratically with 81 unreads in my favorites and 203 stories in my read later list. Seems like no matter how many I read it just keeps increasing.
shrugs. win some lose some. maybe they are not interested in reading a story involving the foals or something. personally find it rather nice.
To an extent, it reminds me of the response I initially got before coming up with a prologue to help readers coming into the story.
I had a very similar impression from the chapter. Like there's supposed to be something I know but haven't actually been informed of at the same time. Something that should be easily grasped but isn't by way of insufficient information available.
I liked the chapter just fine other than that. It feels like there's a LOT to enjoy, if only I knew what it was I was supposed to be enjoying.
And stop sounding depressed bout Suicide By Goddess. It was superb for what it was meaning to be.
I saw it on the Popular list at one point. That counts for something, right?
I'm personally loving it, I would write a whole CMC spinoff in that world if only I had the spare time...
