It's a new record, everyone! Where before it took me ages to get this many upvotes (and on a clopfic, no less), now it's taken mere days in the coveted feature box:

Speaking of Hell, there's a new teaser trailer for Filly Funtasia, along with an announcement that it's due for the Fall of 2015. Huh, so this is what Quorum Sensing fans feel like. But what do I think of it? Well, the Fillies still look awesome, and the animation, while it is an acquired taste, is not bad, it's just European (seriously). Voice acting, I'm a little split on. The song? I could do without, but it's so cheesy and over the top it becomes funny. And those remarks I made regarding Princess and Fairie Fillies opening the door to tons of gay innuendo?
Totally called it. Rose even stares at the two when they're like that. Also, I renamed the vampire in the fic to Zack, since he was named after that alicorn. I wanted it to be a show canon alicorn, even if I had to steal it from another show, so there it is.

And yes, Fabian does stumble quite a bit. There's been some speculation that he's really Battiwigs in disguise, which would account for some things... like him showing up in the bad guys' lair and all.
And come on, if MLP has all this lesbian stuff going, you just know teenage girls are going to see these guys as gay, right? Hell, I can see it and I'm friggin' straight. I'm supposed to be checking my privileges on it or something.

Nah, someone spamming your comments just adds to the heat of the story. And the more popular a story gets and the longer it stays in the popular box, the more people that'll argue about anything show up. Like the "people don't really disown their children and kick them out on the street" guy on Cubic Zirconia.
I suppose he could be the villain. I was thinking more like the prescription on his glasses is out of date.
I'm sure these guys will get end up getting labeled as gay, with the filly name on there. Names like Fabian and acting like a klutz don't help, either.

Your fiendish scheme may have worked aside from one fatal flaw; I've actually used OS/2 before. LXDE, KDE, and Unity on Linux are all better than OS/2...

No problem on the closeup. I downloaded the video in 1080p with keepvid, and vlc lets me do screenshots easily.

Yup, detached tail looks confirmed to me, especially when they hug the walls on hind legs. That was the giveaway for me. It's also been confirmed I can't use my fanmade Filly model for videos. So it'll probably be fan art only.
Me, I use Clipgrab to download, and Blender to move frame-by-frame, but that's kind of slow. Very accurate, though.

Hmm, even if it's an original character, or just show characters? And can you use the models in, say, game mods? I've seen a mod that substitutes mlp characters for mounts in Skyrim before.
I'm used to keepvid. Just go to the website and put in a youtube (or a few other sites) url, and it'll let you download a video. The catch is that several of the options are audio only or video only, and to get the highest quality copy, you have to download the audio and video separately, and then grab a program that stitches them together from their site.
I'll try clipgrab out, though. It might be easier...
If you play a movie in VLC and you make sure to enable the advanced widget toolbar, it has a button to advance the video frame by frame, and another to take screenshots. So I just get close to the section I want, pause it, and start advancing frame by frame...

No problem. I use it to get interesting mlp screenshots. Of course, these days, I occasionally take those screenshots, blow up small sections of them with background ponies, import the picture into Paint Tool Sai, and trace the pony I'm interested in to get a nice vector of them.
That eventually nets me with pictures like this.
