Honestly I don't see why peeps are having such a disagreement that Caramel is a waste of pony flesh sometimes. In some a lot of the AU's / fics I read. He's not a bad pony, he just has lots and lots of problems he needs to work on with no real desire to better himself.
But it's good that he get's a good-ish ending. Would've been just as good to see none, but if we get to see the ending of those Big Mac speaks to, that'll be a nice happy ending for the verbal beat down he gives them. Although I'm wondering 3 things:
1) What is he going to say to Rares?
2) I know you said we'll get to see what he said to Dashie. And that'll be cool.
and
3) Are we ever going to see him talk to AJ while under the influence?

*Shrug* Nah, you and the other guy were having a good discussion. The other guy had the point of it being quite rough and you were right as well. A few other people were just commenting about the rant too though, so it seems it was the major take away of the chapter (after I worked so hard on those chase scenes

Seriously, all they needed to do was cut a rational deal like buying apples from the farm at whatever price Big Mac asked and sell the cider at whatever price they felt like and everything would have been fine. Flim and Flam would have made a stupid amount of money from the sales, the Apples would have made more money than usual, and there would have actually been enough cider to go around.

Well there was a few funny parts but the controversial part was strong with that one.
Different tastes and all that I suppose.
