Aria Blaze vs. The World! · 10:09pm Sep 14th, 2014
Hey guys, I'm just blogging to you all (who I'm pretty sure are all painfully aware of me not being able to do much cause of work and being uber pumped about Rainbow Rocks.) because I feel rather...mad that I haven't made as much progress fic-wise as I could have been. It's just that I'm fed up with using my iPad for writing. I don't know, there's just something about typing on it that I don't like.-_- I'll try getting a new PC soon, I may be going to the mall one day this week to go looking at PCs, so here's hoping right?
I've been doing other things in my spare time lately, not even playing as many video games as I usually do. (Probably cause I'm waiting for the 500 I have pre-ordered.) One such thing is drawing! (yaaaay) anyways, I got bored and tried drawing in the Scott Pilgrim art style, mainly trying to copy how some characters are to get a feel for the style, but I also drew this:
So what do you guys think? I think I've gotten the style pretty ok, but even then I'm not quite sure. The thing about drawing is that it's been giving me ideas that I want to write on a PC, the eternal struggle right? Here's an idea that this pic gave me, but I don't want to write it until I've seen Rainbow Rocks to avoid gun jumping.
Aria Blaze vs. The World
Everything sucks forever. That's the one statement that's been going through Aria's head ever since the battle of the bands incident. She and the other Dazzlings have been curb stomped at their own game, everyone at school hates them for trying to mind control them, and they were forced to clean up the mess they caused during the musical battle against the Rainbooms. She thought her troubles would end there, but as it turns out it's only the beginning. If she isn't having a fist fight with that magician girl, she's helping the cowgirl get her cider back from evil cosplayers. And why are the girls who defeated the Dazzlings trying to befriend her? Aria has one complicated life to be sure.
Yeah I won't lie, this just kindof formed in my brain while I was working today, sometimes I have a funny brain.
Lol what an idea, if you actually found time to make this, i would read it.
And surprisingly, Aria is voiced by Gilda.
OH MARYKE!
