Happy birthday Equestria Girls!!

Well I didn't realize that this happened today, but apparently, the first MLP: Equestria Girls movie was released on this day over EIGHT years ago! It's...honestly quite surreal to think about, seven years ago, I was in my junior year of high school doing not much more than doing my schoolwork, working a part time job, and surfing the web whenever I could. I heard about the whole brony fandom over the course of the last few years, and eventually came across the Bronies react to Equestria Girls video, where I decided to finally see what all of the fuss was about. What followed was a few years of writing horse girl fanfiction, reading fiction, and meeting up with some amazingly talented creators, some of whom I'm still lucky to call my friends all these years later. I've been able to experience so many wonderful things because I joined up with this fandom back in the day, and I don't regret a moment of it. Here's hoping that the future remains ever bright for this fandom, for myself, and for all of you out there.
