    Just wanted to say happy B-day...

    ...To one of the best things to ever come out of My Little Pony!!

    From bringing us my favorite redemption in the entire series to a few of the best villains of G4, this movie knocked my socks off when it first came out. Happy...7th...birthday...Rainbow Rocks...wow it's been long. :twilightoops:

    Another Year older, another year...wiser?

    I kinda can't believe that I'm now 25 years old...though that makes sense in a way because I've been thinking I was 25 for the last month or so, so at least I can think I'm the right age now, lol. Anyways, hope y'all are having a good day!

    Happy birthday Equestria Girls!!

    Well I didn't realize that this happened today, but apparently, the first MLP: Equestria Girls movie was released on this day over EIGHT years ago! :applejackconfused: It's...honestly quite surreal to think about, seven years ago, I was in my junior year of high school doing not much more than doing my schoolwork, working a part time job, and surfing the web whenever I could. I

Happy 2021! I've been somewhat busy. · 4:18am Jan 2nd, 2021

Heya everybody!

I just wanted to pop my head back in here to say howdy, and that I hope each and every one of you had a good holiday season, and will have an even greater start to the new year! Everything around me is still standing in 2021, so hopefully things stay that way, at least until I can get personal stuff squared away. As I'm working on personal real life things at the moment, I haven't had much time to write creatively, which I hope can change sooner rather than later. Despite long hours at work and the like, I am still doing my best to keep up with my hobbies, and have started back up on a few things I've been meaning to get done.

First off, and quite possibly one of the most daunting tasks I've set for myself, is that I'm attempting to get my lazy butt caught up on a long but excellent epic on this very site that goes by the name of Piercing the Heavens, which was written by my good friend Calm Wind. My old friend has been busy during my long stay in stasis, and has built this fic of his up to be the 9th longest story in the entirety of this website, which is still insane to me. I'm on chapter 129 currently and whoooo boy, it's one heck of a ride. I'd highly recommend checking out the story as well as Calm's (comparatively) shorter works if you love stories with great character development.

Anyways, aside from reading and advertising one of my buddy's fics, I've also been in the process of writing and, well...leading a table top roleplaying game. Something I don't believe I told you guys yet is that in the years I spent in college during my FiMFiction hiatus, I was roped into, and subsequently fell in love with the world of Dungeons and Dragons, not unlike how I got myself hooked on ponies way back in 2013-2014 :twilightsheepish:. I love the potential for character building, the party dynamics, and especially the roleplaying. After playing in a few campaigns, I quickly found myself engrossed in the hobby, to the point where I've actually started to run my own campaigns! I'll actually be running my first campaign in a while tomorrow night for six of my friends, and I could not be more excited. I'll be running the first adventure in the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign book for 5th edition for those of you who are curious. Do any of you guys play Dungeons and Dragons or similar ttrpgs? If so, please let me know! I love hearing about other people's experiences and characters in these types of games.

And finally, I've made it somewhat of a new year's resolution to do something that I've been holding off on for a long, long time. Something that might surprise some of you, but well...here it is;

I'm planning on actually watching through Friendship is Magic all the way through...which I loathe to say that I've never done. I know lots of peeps fell off of FiM over the years just because of how long the show went on for, but my timeline for watching the show is...frankly all over the place. :twilightsheepish: As I think I've said a long time ago, I jumped onto the mlp bandwagon when I first saw Equestria Girls for reasons that still elude me. Maybe it's just because I love AU stories? Anyways, I started watching the show with some episodes of season 3, then watched season 4 in nearly its entirety, and then caught a lot of season 5 and the later Equestria Girls specials like Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games before college time rolled around, and...well, stopped that. I've seen bits and pieces of episodes from other seasons as well, but I've never watched more than half of the show, which surprises me considering how much of a fan of the characters I am. Now that I'm out of college and my life is much more stable, I'm going to try settling down and watching as much of the show as I can, right from Season 1. I just finished episode 6 (the introduction of everybody's favorite great and powerful pony :trixieshiftright:) and I can absolutely see how the show picked up the following it did so quickly. I've been considering making little mini reviews on each episode after I watch them, and posting them on my blog here, does that sound like it'd interest you guys? Either way, I'm looking forward to be getting back on this crazy train, and perhaps even falling in love with the world of Equestria again. That's all I have to say for now, thanks to anyone for reading my ramblings, it means the world to me. I hope you all have a safe, sensational, and satisfying beginning to 2021!
