Okay, a lot of you have made it clear you do not agree with some plotlines in "TCB: STR" that I personally find inconsequential to the plot as a whole. And you know what? That's fine. That's a-okay. Alright. I know my plot (heh) isn't the most believable, but you know what? This is just me trying to keep things moving, trying to get past this point and move along. But if some of you don't agree with the way I'm handling it, I will gladly accept your saying so and invite you to PM me with an alternative route, perhaps a little bit of inspiration to get me going in the "right" direction.
What isn't okay are the multitudes of "fans" who think they need to jump ship right now with a little backhanded comment aimed at me. Or even announce that they're leaving at all! Guys, if you're gonna bow out, do so quietly so we can all leave with a little bit of dignity, but Christ alive, don't announce it! What, you think you're so damned important that losing you is gonna make me revamp the whole damned plotline!? As if you, one reader out of thousands, are so important that you're entitled to seeing the plot go a certain way and are free to throw a hissy fit if that doesn't happen? I wasn't going to say anything about this, but then it happened over and over again, some of these accompanied with backhanded little comments stabbing at my writing ability.
So, with that said, from this point forward, any comment announcing the oh-so-devastating news that one reader out of thousands is now hopping off will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be permanently blocked from my page. I didn't want to have to do this, I really didn't, but my hand has been forced. The little insults, just the sheer amount of self-righteousness required to announce you leaving in this way, all of it is just too much for me to handle on top of getting another chapter out for the actual fans. That being said, am working on the next chapter now, hopefully I can get it out in under a month. For all those leaving, shut up and don't let the door hitcha on the way out. For all those staying, thank you for this chance.
Hell, with the way you write it, I don't give a damn about the plot holes... well, besides muttering something under my breath, but eh.
I don't know why people try to shove their dick down people's throat by telling everyone they're disliking a story or unfavoriting it. If you don't like it just leave, no one wants to hold your hand on the way out.

I agree to a point. It's fine to announce that you're unfavoriting the story or changing an upvote to a downvote. What isn't okay is how I've seen in done on your story — with sarcastic comments and self-righteousness.
Back to your main topic, I think that people seem to have an issue with TCB-Shining Armor. Right now, he's getting off scot-free despite commiting at least two criminal acts.
And that ties into the other area that people have issues with. Your supposed professional characters are acting very unprofessionally and immaturely at best and downright idiotic at worst.
Right now, I believe your best bet is to make Shining Armor suffer some sort of consequences for his actions and make your professional characters act more professionally and more intelligently.

That being said, I am actually looking forward to the next chapters, particularly those when they realize they screwed up big time... because, hey, if there was an alternate Celestia that was contrary to all you thought you knew once, what is to say that this one is going to be exactly the same as the one you know of?

I think the problem is that people are getting impatient waiting for what is actually in the story description. Namely, Celestia setting right Xenolestia's crimes.
So far, we've gotten a lot of buildup detailing just how scarred Xenolestia left this world & why they assume Celestia is lying before she even opens her mouth, & I agree this setup needs to be there, but it just seems to be delaying what most people came in to see, which is Celestia proving that she's not the same as her evil counterpart.
With Shining Armour's breakdown upon seeing Twilight however, I would hope we're close to that turning point.
