As you all probably know, the new Equestria Girls movie is coming out in a little over a month. Love it or hate it, this ship is about to set sail and with it the usual influx of fandom activity. Personally, I can't wait. New songs? New characters? More content? As cringe worthy as some people might think it is, I still get excited every time I see a new short come up, or a new drawing of one of the upcoming villains.
Also I'll probably let you guys know about how I'm doing writing-wise or whatever. All that after the break.
If you've perused derpibooru any time in the last couple of weeks, you've probably run into some of the things our lovely content creators have been cooking up just from the few shorts we already have. Porn, edits, and fanart are already on the market, and hopefully it comes in waves once the actual movie comes out. The spotlight right now seems to be on our three new bad-girls on the scene: Adiago, Sonata, and Aria.
Beautiful, aren't they? If the most recent short is any indication, they came to Canterlot High just like Sunset Shimmer did, and seem to leave a path of dismay and chaos in their wake to get whatever they want. Evil intentions aside, they turned the unf up to the max when they made these girls.

My personal favorite has to be Sonata though. From what little personality we've been shown, she kinda reminds me of Ty Lee from Avatar, and I love it. I mean, look at this adorable face:

So many shipping opportunities too. I haven't seen any around fimfic so far (to be fair, I haven't looked that hard) but I can't wait to see some of these girls doing the no-pants-dance with each other in one way or another. I might even have to write some of that myself.

Speaking of beautiful bad-girls, my old favorite, Sunset Shimmer makes a return as well. She's not so evil this time around, but that doesn't mean I can't love her all the same, or even more. Something about her voice makes me tingle in all the right places. Anyway, we've got some interaction between her and the mane 6 already. Seems like they've made amends. I'm sure I can squeeze some shipping material out of that one too.

The mane six have been getting plenty of attention as well. As much as I'm hyped for the Dazzle girls and more Sunset, I'm just as excited to see Twilight and the girls humanized again.

Anyway, love it or hate it, some new high school adventure is now on its way. But how could you hate it? I mean, you are following a primarily humanized author. Whatevs. In retrospect, I didn't have high expectations for the last movie either. I stopped at the first song three or four times before I watched it all the way through. While it didn't blow me away, the influx of new content more than made up for it. In the case of Rainbow Rocks, I'm excited this time around (if you couldn't tell already) and will be impatiently awaiting to see all of my favorite characters in their beautiful humanized form. So get hype, or get hating. Argue about it in the comments or something.

Now for the boring part. August has been a pretty productive month for me, but I'm not sure how much that's going to carry over. I posted almost 60k in the space of a month, and I doubt I'll ever be able to keep up with that. At any rate, I'm going to try to write and get something out at least once a week. One-shot, new chapter to something or whatever it is, I'll try to keep the content flowing because shipping and stuff. I'll try to get stuff out on Thursdays or Fridays, but you know how bad I am at promises. Anyway, not going into hiatus. Stories will come.

Adiago is the one in charge, and her behavior exhibits some sociopathic tendencies.
Sonata is the excitable one who acts extra cute.
And from what I recall, Aria is the quiet one who doesn't express herself much.
