Greetings, tiny horse enthusiasts! I bring tidings of new stories.
So in my continuing quest to make myself look like an idiot, I've decided to break yet another of the taboos I set for myself when I started writing pony stuff. What might that taboo be? The big one: something other than a one-shot.
I know, I know, calm down. It won't be too long, maybe 3-4 chapters, each around 8-10k words, but even I think 40-50k words is a little much for a oneshot. The first chapter is nearly finished, but it won't be going up right away. I want to be at least halfway into the next chapter before I put it up, just in case I want to make any adjustments before I start setting things in stone, plot-wise. I hesitate to give myself a time table with a project this big, but at the very least expect the first chapter within a week as of this posting, and hopefully the second chapter a week after.
Thanks for keeping up with my nonsense, and I hope you'll join me for The Surprisingly Complicated Love Life of Spike the Dragon.
And go read Berry Bitters and Apple Sours if you haven't yet! It came out really good, I think!

I can recommend from experience that you should finish the entire story before publishing, even if you don't publish all the chapters on the first day.
