Gilgamesh want you again! · 4:00pm Jul 18th, 2014
I was considering what would essentially be a filler chapter for Gilgamesh's story, a concert chapter. Would you guys be opposed to a chapter that's mostly links to music with little dialogue and maybe one joke, or should I just continue to the story?
Honestly, one of my favorite things about this story is the abundance of music links, so I'd be more than okay with this.
That sounds like an awesome idea to me.
I say it would be fine. Also could there be a dragonforce reference?
Personally, I'd prefer moving on with the story, but doing what other's prefer breaks the spirit of making writing a hobby or passion. So, just do what you like.

I would prefer you continuing the story, but it isn't by much...
I for one think a filler chapter would be quite refreshing.
Filler chapter! Make sure I lose my shit again.
The choice is really up to you, but something to keep in mind is the eternal question, “what does this add to the story?” Would you be adding the chapter because you want to throw out a chapter quickly, or because you feel it is important in some way. If you are just putting it out there to fill up space, then you may want to hold off, if you want to add it because you feel like you should, then put it in. If you are on the fence, then why not try and integrate it into something else, and combine it with another chapter. Heck, in that case, next time you have a cross-over, have him get pulled during the concert, and come back right afterword, and continue the concert with the audience still sitting there confused pops up back with a new hat or something. (*During song* Doc Brown with DeLorian pops up “Quickly, we have to go back to the future!” Gil: “ALRIGHT! AWAY!” Audience: O.o *10 minutes later* Gil: I'M BACK! Audience: o.O)
An important thing to remember is that not all filler is bad, it can be the perfect thing to decompress the story after plot heavy action, or to build up character development where it might not otherwise be. For example, Naruto had a ton of shit filler, but this is also the only place we get to see actual character development for most of the side cast for a majority of the series. If you think that it would build character, put it in, if you think it would just be fan-service, take it out.
Really, the best advise I can give is: Don't do what you want to do, do what Gilgamesh wants to do.
Eh, why not? You could even call it an intermission, if that helps.
