Hey guys.
I gather that I don't talk much or do anything. Usually I blab.
Today, however, I really wanted to talk about a certain individual on Fimfiction. A user called Bad Seed.
Basically, she's not been feeling so great. I'm not going to divulge details, but I can say that she's pretty sad. I don't normally ever do this, but Bad Seed is one of my closest Fimfiction friends, and it breaks my heart to see her in this state. Please, I'm begging you, just take a few minutes of your time and tell Bad Seed and give her stories a read, and understand just why she has my respect.
She's such a kind and considerate person, and I feel horrible knowing she's so sad and there's nothing I can do. If you can, just send her a message, letting her know just how how amazing she is, and just how amazing her writing is.

I can completely understand where she's coming from. What Reality Check said made me feel sick. I may be the creator of the Straight Shipping group. but I'm the biggest supporter of LGBT you'll ever meet, and what RC said made me grind my teeth and go for a walk. But I can understand there are people who don't understand homosexuality. Bad Seed is a homosexual, and she took great offense. I just wish she hadn't taken it so badly. There will always be people who don't understand. That is life.
It just pains me because this issue transcends Reality Check. Bad Seed feels pain beyond that. I wish I could help her, but alas, I suppose I was never as close a friend as that. I hope someone closer can mend her wounds.
For now, even though I am an atheist, I shall pray for her.

I saw that ordeal going down, and, not to point out the obvious, but, that got really bad really fast.
I would comment, but I really have no idea what to say, and I'm afraid anything I did say would make things worse, even if only marginally. I'm an incredibly sympathetic person, and situations like this are a slippery slope for me. I want to help, I really do, but there's such a mix of emotions surrounding the event that I actually became a bit emotionally conflicted just scrolling through the comments, let alone participating in the issue.
Getting to the root of the problem, however, I just have no idea where it is this Reality Check dude gets off being such an entitled bigot. Should Bad have reacted in the way she did? Probably not, that was a tad... much. But I do understand where she's coming from. I would have commented saying as much, but after seeing how she reacted to people claiming to understand, I figured it wouldn't be the best idea.
Right now I'm a little worried about you too, Vex. The conversation got a little heated, and she said some pretty scathing things. How're you holding up, man?

Thanks for thinking about me. I'm not used to that, I will admit. If you want to know the truth, I'm really worried for Bad Seed, and I'm kinda hurt by her comments. It bothers me that people might judge me based on the groups I run.
But that's Fimfiction. I can grow some skin and get over that. What I want is for Bad Seed to do the same. Reality Check is not something she should be getting worked up over. And it drives me crazy when she tells me how easy it is, or how patronizing I'm being.
Gah, I hope she doesn't stay in this funk.
