I'm a hydra now, and update on upcoming project

Well, I was watching FimFlamPhilosophy's Mentally Advanced series (because they're funny) when I came across the wildest coincidence: and to understand this, it is important two know two facts about me:

-My name is, in the 'real' world, Richard

-I happen to be deathly allergic to peanuts (I suffocate. I admit, I'm a little puzzled how I found this out, because, well, I'm currently not dead by suffocation, so don't ask me about how it works)

At around three minutes, the hydra in this more comedic universe is, apparently, described to be me. Depending on when I watch the video, the part about my birthday may also be true.

And this is how I have decided that evidently, I am meant to have a hydra OC. So I have drawn myself a new avatar and it's a bit more reptilian than before. Also, he is wearing a suit and a flowery shirt. Because I'm a stylish hydra.

On another note, my murder investigation project is nearing completion: at currently 16 000 words, with probably 1-2 more chapters in the works, it will not follow either Rainbow Dash or Applejack. This sort of story is me aiming at a diverse range of fics in my repertoire, even though I love Appledash to bits. I'm not sure if it will work, but me and my prereader, BlackFireGallop, are pretty happy with how it is so far, so, that's where I'm going with that.

The number of random ideas I'm currently having is also becoming more diverse: some of these will take a while to implement, if I even go for some of these and I get new ones all the time.

As for my Appledash ideas, I have two I'm working on. One of them is me actually attacking a rather serious subject for AJ, and attempting to clumsily balance it against silly Rainbow. I hope it works. I've got no idea how my other ideas will go, but generally if I finish them, it means I like it enough to eventually publish.

I'm glad the ones that I have already written have been met with a reasonable amount of approval. We'll see how these next ones go.
