Okay, so I mentioned that I wanted a large variety of fic types in my repertoire, right? Well, this is me giving an update for a project, probably between 15 000 and 20 000 words, that will differ rather strongly from my last three, as it doesn't follow either Apples or Rainbow Dash, but rather Shining Armour and Octavia instead in an attempt to emulate a Noir style murder investigation fic. No idea how it'll turn out, but my hopes are it'll be different, gritty, and a very different tone from my previous fics. It's probably at 2/3 completion, but since writing has been going slowly I might churn out a few shorter fics in the meantime. I get new ideas relatively often, and they range from Appledash shipping to somewhat darker ideas.
Among these was a Rainbow Factory variation, which I'm avoiding publishing because it doesn't feel very complete, and a possible Changeling scenario. I'm still sitting on a Rainbow is an artist idea that i may twist towards my own Appledash obsession later that will be in the same vein as some of my already published stories. So I'm not entirely done with those, nor will I probably ever be. I simply want to have more than those in my arsenal, for better, or for worse.
