    Hold My Beer

Don't mind me. Just checking on the place... damn it's dusty in here. Might need to clean up a bit. Let's see if the lights still work.

    Nope. Not dead

Kinda sorta. New job, so there's that. But I am alive. New little project to get shit started this year. Should be good to go by the end of the month.

    What Should Have Been

Alright, we went back to the drawing board and came up with what we believe to be a proper squeal to Voyage's End. Really, we should have just done it like this in the first place. Live and learn, ya know?

    Well now...

Soooo... yeah. That didn't go well.

The release of Starchasers has been less than great. I wont bore you all with a lengthy post on why it kinda sucked. The point is, it has been less than smooth. So what now?

Well, Dawn, Arad, and I are looking at a few options.

    1) Try to trudge along and salvage what we can by going back and trying to patch the weak spots.

What Next? · 3:54am Jun 30th, 2014

So, as the title states, what should be next?

I have three ideas that I could work on. Now I wanna know what you all would prefer.

A) Finish: Of Time To Remember

B) Voyage's End

C) Me And My Shadow

D) Voidrunner Sequel: This will not be happening right away. It will happen once I have a story ironed out and ready for production. I just need to do a project or two to continue honing my writing ability.

E) Fuck all those, try again

Some of you might be asking: "DM, why the fuck are you only doing stories that have heavy Sci-Fi elemnts, or heavy fantasy elements.?"

Ho there, child. Allow me to explain. I love Sci-Fi. I really do. The technology, the exotic places, I love it. So, I have ended up taking my two favorite genres and mashing them together into something that people would take the time to read.

"I've noticed that two of these stories on the list are crossovers. Are you just bad at coming up with your own original stories and universes?"

Well, kinda sorta. I have been doing crossovers as a way to practice my writing ability. I figure if I can tell a compelling story while working in someone else's framework, imagine what I can accomplish when I am given full control. Right now the thing I want to master is keeping things believable and at least partially realistic. If I can tell a convincing story while avoiding major cliches and plot holes, like a few in Voidrunner that I still despise. then I would consider the story a success. So for now, I will be sticking close to crossovers and other influences. Worry not, however, soon enough there will be a totally original story/universe flowing from my keyboard. You just gotta stick with me for the in between.

TL:DR Dickbutt

Everything here is subject to change, modification, cancellation, completion, and a few other words that end with -tion. Have a question or what more clarification about a story? This is the place to ask.

What's C crossed over with?

2244807
Titanfall. I figured it would be easy to work with. Especially since it really doesn't have a story, leaving me to fuck with it however I want.

2244807 Titanfall, honestly I'm not sure how well that would go.

2244814 In that case then, Voyage's end, then C

2244816
What I could do is write a chapter or two and then keep it unpublished, but put out the password for it instead. How do you guys feel about that idea?

2244831 sounds good, but to be honest I tend to think a lot of things are good

I think Voyagers end would be interesting.

My vote for B, then C. Titanfall is awesome.

So right now it seems like most people are interested in Voyage, followed up by Titanfall.

AKA: the way I was going to do it before asking for opinions. I knew there was a reason we all got along so well.

I vote B and C.
B because the premise sounds good, it would also add some melanchonie if the ponies decide to track the probe back to its origin only to find a dead world (not necessarily full of radiation, if you know what I mean)

C because "PREPARE FOR TITANFALL" 'nuff said

Comment below is most agreeable. Especially the purple one right beneath it. Good luck and I look forward to your work!

Probably just bashing at a dead corpse at this point but id like to see B then C

2245154
Hey man, more votes equals more interest in the options.

I would chose C, since there is hardly any titanfall fics since the game is practically dead and Titans+ tirek= giant royal battle/ Followed by Choice B

2244831 That.... is actualy a perfect idea, give the dedicated a taste of something new, and if they like it, go with it.

I would like to vote for B.

B and C

But mostly C, I wanna see how the ponies are gonna get the Militia and the other guys to come together and band against that nut-fucker.

You can do B as the second project because, hell, why not!? XD

B -- Voyages End. It definitely has the most meat on it.

Sorry, I am the reason the D button is broken..... Wait. No, Im not sorry, It was worth every smashing of that button, it seduced me!

As I have not yet read A (just downloaded it), I'm going to vote B. C... well I'm not all that interested in Titanfall right now.
