Well, "Wild, Sweet & Cool" is done, but it seems like the ending of the epilogue is needlessly confusing some of the readers, and upon rereading, it does seem a bit clunky. Therefore, I've decided to remove it, and place it in this blog post for posterity.
"P.S. If you see Princess Luna, please inform her that Rainbow Dash is now quite capable of performing Sonic Rainbooms at will with little difficulty, as long as her trajectory is more than fifteen degrees removed from a vertical ascent. When we met with her after the Stratochase, she seemed to think it was very important for some reason."
I don't quite understand the confusion. I mean, sure, Luna saying that Rainbow being able to perform the Rainboom at will is a bit odd, but hey! It's awesome, and sets up a potential sequel.
Yeah, I didn't really get the significance of that bit.
I had assumed it was an arbitrary sequel hook. Was it actually supposed to make sense in the context of what we had already seen? If so... How, and why? Interested to see it kept here for posterity, implies it will still be important in some way...

No, it was just supposed to imply that Rainbow Dash doing the Rainboom at the wedding was Luna's idea. It's being kept here as a sort of "outtake," if you will.
I dunno about anyone else but I got the reference to the finale immediately.

Well considering that Rainbow Dash performed a Sonic Rainboom while ascending during the season finale (not a straight vertical ascent, mind you, but still while on an ascent) I didn't find it too confusing.
I'd have left it in. It's only confusing if you're either easily confused or don't actually watch the show.
This confused me for a moment, then I remembered the story is set before the royal wedding and I was like "Awwwww yeaaaaah!"

I was looking through the comments on the story and was wondering what everyone was talking about 15 degrees. I was rather confused. Because you had already removed it by the time I got to reading it.
