My OC Needs An Actual Cutie Mark · 6:48pm Jun 18th, 2014
So I've not had a lot of time for the interwebs lately. That never stops other people, though. I've had a few people draw art of my OC—my good friend, Mr101, included among them—and it occurred to me that my OC doesn't really have a cutie mark. I recall at the time I was adding one, I just threw out the first thing that came into my head. I write, so I guess a quill will do?
Seriously.
I've never been one to be so generic, but I've also never been one for thinking up Cutie Mark ideas. So I was wondering whether any of you guys had any ideas for what I could have instead? I mean, yeah I write, but that's not exactly my calling in life. It's just something I like to do to pass the time. I also like to meet new people, travel, sleep, get very drunk and party like crazy. My special talent, as it were, is computers. That's what I want to do with my life. Somehow that doesn't translate into Ponyland so well.
So yeah, any suggestions would be awesome. 
If you like getting drunk, then how about a quill in front of a bottle of wine?

I've never really thought about a combination of items in a cutie mark. Let me see what I can pull up.
There are videogames in Ponyland...whats to say that there isn't a computer ran by magic.

How about a open book laying down with a projection of the planet above it coming from the book. It will be the cutie mark that could mean so many different things to each individual that see it.
Like the book could represent your source of knowledge and entertainment, kind of like the internet on your computer. The world being projected from the book could show that you share, enjoy, and seekout out the world around you.
This is only what I would think of seeing that cutie mark, but just my suggestion.

What I did was get what I like, and made a cutie mark with a silver circle with tec tattoo with blue ghost flams

Just suggest to have Chromie with something more colorful for a cutie mark. Her fur is already a very calm color, her mane too. I think it wouldn't hurt to have her having a little more of color besides her very colorful horn.
Also, I can tell you that putting something related to your habit of getting crazily drunk isn't going to work. Cutie marks are supposed to embody our special talents and goals in life, getting drunk can't be defined has one.
So far, the best suggestion I saw was the symbol for standbye suggested by the messenger. There a few characters I know related to technology who uses this premise too. My own suggestion would be some lined gears, or just one big gear, as you like to tinker and fiddle with your computer too. Also, make them something more colorful, maybe golden or coppery.
