Guys, I've written myself into a corner today, but I've made great progress. Once I know how our heroes get out of this predicament, the chapter will be nearly ready. Oh yeah, surprise! I'm not dead! 
The following passage is the first-hand account of the events that took place immediately after the 11th of September, 2001 written by a Navy Hospital Corpsman, specialized as a Psychiatric Technician:

Hey, guys. I just wanted to give you all an update. I'm still working on Fallen Angel and editing two other stories right now, but my progress has been slowed by my internet acting up recently. I can't effectively write on my phone. (Trust me, I've tried.) Now my internet is back, but I took leave around my birthday/mother's death day to get away and relax a little. I went to see my dad.
Hey guys, so life has really been kicking me in the ass lately, but I promise you I'm still working on the Painkiller Series. In fact, I just wrote some on Sunday, and I'm working on it again today between tasks at work. I write best at my desk at work for some reason. I haven't the faintest clue why. 
Twilight jumped off the bed and motioned for Sunset to follow. "Follow me," She said, "I have something to show you."
I wrote this at 4 in the morning. I have completely forgotten what I wanted Twilight to show her! 
Is there anything you guys would like her to show her (that would both make sense and in some small way move the story forward)?

I've been trying to stray away from that story as much as humanly possible, because excusing the clop in The Two Between, the premises of these stories are very similar.

Hmm. Considering the Sunset's comment right before she says it, I imagine something that proves Celestia never stopped thinking about her or giving up hope when it comes to her might make sense. Maybe something Celestia gave Twilight to give to Sunset when she (Twilight) felt the time was right. Could be a lot of things. One or more old Mothers Day gifts Sunset got for Celestia, an old diary Sunset left behind Celestia kept, maybe (considering the conversation some more) old report cards and or progress reviews from Sunset...
That's one of the first things that come to my mind.

Seriously though, I'm not (currently) reading the tagged story, but that joke popped into my head on seeing this blog-post and I just couldn't resist.
I'm guessing she'll show her the journal and perhaps all the letters she sent to Celestia recording their lessons on friendship. Celestia may have sent them back to Twilight as a type of archive for her castle of friendship to have, along with the journal she and her friends were creating as well.

What i would think Twilight would be Showing Sunset Shimmer would be A: The palace of friendships Throne Room where her and her friends have meetings. B: Show her something that could help her get on the Right track, and not going Down the path she went down.

"What... is this place, Twilight?" Sunset asked, tilting her head to one side. The alicorn giggled at her expression, hiding the blush on her cheeks with her hair.
They had been walking around the castle for a good few hours now, and she was starting to get a little hungry. Though, Sunset didn't want to interrupt Twilight's ramblings, as this was one of the few times where they would speak to each other without butting heads or somepony interfering.
She spread out her wings. "This is a place where I come to think whenever I'm feeling down, and I look at all of my adventures I had with my friends. Even a princess like me has her bad days, and just needs a few moments to herself. Whenever you feel upset about anything, and you don't want to tell me at first, you're more than welcome to visit here."
She... she can't be serious... is she? Sunset wondered, staring at her in surprise. The confident expression on the alicorn's face affirmed her questions. She bowed her head humbly. "I... thank you, Twilight. I am honored to be given this."
Twilight smiled at her and nodded, before nuzzling her cheek as she walked out. Sunset lingered in the room for a few more moments until she heard a happy squeal down the hall, and let out a little laugh herself. Yes, things were definetly working well for her now. Thank Celestia.
