So. My precious few followers have probably noticed by now that I haven't been around much lately. Why is that?

Well, for a number of reasons. I've been busy, I've had less time for fanfiction (both reading and writing it), and, sad to say, I've largely fallen out of the fandom - not out of some disdain for the series or anything, but simply because, thanks to my busyness (and partly thanks to the fact that I've had a hard time catching the show when it's on, since I'm a stickler for watching things legally), I've not been able to keep up with the franchise and maintain my interest in ponies the way I used to. Sad, I know. But please bear with me.

I still fully intend to finish The Successors (as evidenced, I hope, by the new chapter which just arrived today). With any luck, the story will reach its conclusion before the summer is out, and that'll probably be it for me as far as pony fanfiction goes, at least for the foreseeable future. But fear not: I'll still hang around. Y'all haven't seen the last of ol' Portmeirion.
