Hello Fimfiction Family! I wanted to let you all know that I am still struggling with Writers Block. So, I would like to get your idea/opinions/thoughts on how I should start Chapter 12. Your support is always truly appreciated my Fimfiction Family!

Well you could open up in Equestria where Twilight finally talks to Spike about what she wanted to talk with him about earlier. And then getting in the human world you can have The girls get back to the park to warn Sunset and the girls and they race to the orphanage for answers. I do hope you come out of writers block, because it's a pain to have.

Okay so last chapter we saw two critical things Equestria Side Alizohtl is up to no good, and Equestria girl side Toby was just taken into the foster care system of that (state, province, country, insert geopolitical division their). So the writer block is trying to figure out where to go from that.

Hmmmm, lets see if I can't give you a few seeds of ideas and see if you can't grow anything out of them

Options Equestria Girl side:

I already mentioned how it would be DT's luck that Mr. Rich would take Toby in and have it backfire on her.

One of the Mane 5's families/landlords/employers (blasted alternate universe throwing off everything you know about the relationships between everybody) could take Toby in (the best option is [and I can't believe I'm saying this] is Pinkie Pies given that, The Apples in Equestria verse while large farmers, have shown financial worries before, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Rarity live independently in Equestria [don't know about EG] and thus probably couldn't get him under their roofs, leaving Pinkie Pie as the cakes run their own business and despite having Pinkie Pie as an employee never seem to have to worry about their pastry losses. [Not to mention they'd probably believe anything Pinkie Pie told them because it would be strange enough to be true given her very nature])

Out of left field option, while investigating the fiasco that led to Toby getting into foster care the protective services notice Sunset Shimmer's lack of paperwork for that world (citizenship papers, birth certificates etc.) and rumors of the Fall Formal Incident reach their ears, this gets passed up to various intelligence services (FBI, CIA, NSA, [note these names are assuming EG takes place in America, if you want to make it a fictional nation change acronyms if appropriate, for all we know SHIELD might exist their (if not for copyright and blah blah blah)]). The involvement of these intelligence services depending on what you can do with them can be helpful or hurtful to our protagonists depending on which route you want to take with them. If the obstructive bureaucrat type that simply wants an ordered society, probably a problem for our heroes. Similarly those agents seeking to gain an upperhand for their country by experimenting on/exploiting Equestria itself or even on our two interdimensional travelers would be problematic. If on the other hand the agents are the type seeking to right a wrong whether for moral reasons, (get Toby back home), diplomatic reasons (we don't want to offend our interdimensional neighbors who apparently have beings capable of telling the laws of physics to sit down and shut up), or simply pragmatic reasons, (imagine what will happen if people keep going back and forth, magical interference in world events, nations trying to make proxy wars on Equestria, and thus want to simply reestablish the status quo). Or you can have a mix of both kinds of agents of course vying to have it go their way, whether to help or hinder Toby's return.

Options Equestria Side: I'd advise keeping Alizothl out of anything else at the moment as I would hope he'd have enough tactical and strategic sense to know that any artifacts within the Empire are too heavily guarded at this point (particularly now that everybody has been informed) and that so many Alicorns are currently located their. Also get someone (most likely Twilight though the comics seem to reveal that Shining Armor, a bunch of his high school fans, and Cadance all have some form of nerdic tendencies) to work on finding away to resolve the portal issues and have them behave more proactively rather than just sit and wait for the mirror to work.
