First Look at Future Story: Sanguine Kindess · 2:24am Mar 7th, 2014
What you are seeing is the cover for a future story of mine, my first attempt at making a somewhat horror fic. It features Flutterbat of course, and lots of gore, but more towards a reasonable side hopefully. What's cool about this fic is that it will feature black and white art inside the chapters at specific scenes, along with only showing red.
Chapter 1 is almost ready for editing, but there still needs another art to go along with it.
What do you think of the cover?

She only has one eye. That's my first impression.
I'd still give it a shot, though.

Which certainly is scary. Damn that creature, it's enough to give a pony nightmares. Sounds like this story isn't my usual fare, but I'll give it a shot.
Oh yeah, comment about the art: It's excellently creepy, though I have to echo the comments about her right eye (our left) looking like it's missing. I think the problem is that her left eye looks like it's glowing, while her right eye is in such deep shadow it looks like it's missing, or as I originally thought, her eye was closed. Maybe just lighten the eye a tad, and outline the iris and pupil.

That is both cool and creepy. Will it be a vampiric take on Flutterbat? It's a shame that it's only March, this would make a good Halloween story. I have a couple of concepts of my own that I'm fleshing ideas on.

Haha! Now you got me thinking about Castlevania. Flutterbat is a version of Dracula and I can picture a skeletal pegasus. Maybe Rainbow Dash as Death?
