Re-Writing · 4:18am Mar 2nd, 2014
So, for the past month or so, (maybe longer, it's become hard to tell), I've been working on re-writing my first fic, a Skitch in Time.
The reasons are many, but most of them all come back to the fact that I've wanted to make the story better in general. I want to give the Mane Six more to do in the story, and play up the mystery aspect a little bit more. Things are being switched around, some character actions cleaned up some, as well as other improvements.
Originally, the plan was to finish it up, and then upload it all at once. But as focusing in on this re-write has been draining my attention away from other writing projects of mine, I changed my mind. So, there will be one new chapter on the revised A Skitch in Time a week, starting today!
I got enough of a buffer right now, that I'll be able to finish the re-write and get back to some of my other ideas, instead of just focusing on the one and trying to finish it all up before returning to other writing.
I hope that you'll all enjoy it. 
Personally, I enjoyed the original version since it had more depth and plot.

To be fair J, I think that the new version will have plenty of depth and plot. It might just be hard to see that since the current one only has one actual chapter out right now.

Gates knocked that one out of the park, considering that he went back in and re-vectored those scenes from the show to add Skitch into them. Bang up job, really.
I had just read a skitch in time in it's entirety several days ago and I do admit parts did seem a little forced but it was still a good story. I am interested to see what has been changed.
