As I said in my previous blog, I'm quite fond of my Cogs character, and I felt he could do with a bit more character development, so I wrote a prequel for "Change of Life". This also gave more background to the main story also, and I had considered trying to insert it as the new first chapter instead. However, to make it flow correctly as one story, some of the other chapters would have needed some editing to eliminate inconsistencies such as calling the character Cogs or Zevan, and duplications of descriptions. Therefore I decided to make it a stand-alone short story instead called "Prelude To Change". Hopefully you will like this extra glimpse into his past.
Now maybe I can put my mind back into dreaming up more for my "Growing Up Dandy" series!
