My players have finally met two of the members of their rival Troop:
Diamond Gem
Neon
It's staring into your very soul!
Diamond Gem and Neon were operating a hedge maze at the Spring Carnival. Apparently, Gem spent a pretty penny getting the maze to grow at an absurd rate. Anypony who reached the center of the maze (without cheating, Gin!) got a prize. Neon analyzed the winners to determine an appropriate prize, and the pair had an impressive array of prizes to distribute!
Of course, Neon didn't particularly care about what occurred between point A and B once Neon had sent the prize on its merry way, and Gem's a bit mean-spirited (Master of the Universe personality packed into the body and mind of a child). This resulted in things such as Neon deciding an appropriate prize for Shady Simile was "color" equating to "dump a bucket of pink paint on him" thanks to Gem, and selecting a wood whittling knife for Oakheart as a prize resulted in Oak getting cut by the falling blade.
And no, Neon does not have a tail. Also, not even Shady, who was friends with Neon years ago, nor Neon's Troop-mates are entirely certain whether Neon is a filly or a colt.
