I decided to have a stab at submitting something to The Royal Guard. I picked Longer Than Diamonds, as it feel it's the strongest of my completed stories. I love In the Eye of the Storm, but it suffers from being a crossover, and could possibly use a little tweaking. (The New Black and Birth of Achlys are both too fluffy to be included, I wrote them just for fun, and I'm not sure about sending in stories that aren't finished, so Brotherhood and Spark to Light a Candle are off the table for now.)
So wish me luck, I guess. I've also submitted to Twilight's Library, where I think I have a decent chance of getting accepted. I have no idea how the standards at The Royal Guard compare.
Wish me extra luck in now making myself neurotic waiting to find out if it's been accepted or if I have to go back to magic kindergarten Creative Writing 101.
Edited to add: I finally got that one more thumbs up for In the Eye of the Storm to be eligible for the Good Crossover List, so I've submitted it there. I guess today is my day for submitting fics to things!
