Sorry about the lack of Content

First off before I begin I want to make it clear at the moment I am not really working on anything, I've kind of got the odd idea written down but I'm not in the process of writing any new chapters.

A Question (Equestria's Crazies) · 6:43pm Jan 10th, 2014

So, I need to ask all you people who are following Equestria's Crazies.
We've been going for two years now, we're 28 Episodes into and new Episodes are coming slow.

It was brought to my attention that I've been focusing too much on jumping for character to character in my recent chapters (Something I agree with) and I've come up with a few solutions.

1) The first option is the one I fear the most out of everything a "Story arc" I could set up something (While still keeping it comedy and slice of life) that would require multiple chapters that way I'm not rapidly burning through any possible ideas. (For example 2 or 3 chapters of just Sombra and Nibbles)

2) This is the option I like the most, Limiting my character use another thing that's burning through any stockpiles of gags that I create is the fact that I try to use all my characters whenever I think I can. If I go with this option I'll only be using about 2 - 3 character per chapter (That doesn't mean characters won't show up, it just means they won't be a focus in the chapter)

3) 3rd and final option is one I'm a little iffy on posting. Using background characters this means that we'd get more chapters about the guards, the servants, and so on within the castle. We'd see the story from a different point of view.

4) I just stick with what I'm doing now and we ride this ship till we burn up on reentry.

What do you think?
Do you have your own suggestions?

Idk. I haven't read all the chapters yet. Only up to 23.

Well uhhh... I can't decide, but I guess I can still try to help you decide.

1. Seems to use 2 already, and would probably be the most popular but also the most significant investment of work. I'd personally recommend using this only when you have an idea for a story arc already, instead of forcing the story into arcs.

2. This sounds like just general good practice to do.

3. The few chapters we've had like this, at least I liked them, but I think, like the story arcs, these should be used only if you already have an idea that uses that.

4. I'd rather you didn't burn in a fiery re-entry and die. That'd be a bummer.

I'm sorta open to all of them tbh.

A story arc? those are often good fun and interesting as it gives us more insight into how the characters work with each other and feels a bit deeper.

Limiting their appearance would likely be easier to pull off if you started doing story arcs.

Adding more background ponies sounds like fun and I'd be curious to see them.

Please don't crash and burn. I haven't gotten o meet you and fangirl in person yet.:raritydespair:

I'd have to say that seeing more characters (possibly expendable) pop up. Option 3 for me.

I like options 2 through 4.

2 is probably the most responsible/professional/reasonable etc

3 feels like fun but could also send things off-track and might dissuade some readers, but call the cops i don't care FUN IS FUN :pinkiehappy:

4, I like 4, but as you said in your post it is risky.

So endeth my thoughts on the matter :trollestia:

Option 2 is probably the best, but only add a story arc if there is a longer story to tell and some chapters on the other characters I think would work well since we can have some other perspectives about how the staff and guards deal with the chaos of Canterlot Castle.

I want you to do a storyarc. I think you could pull it off

Take option 3 and make it into a side story, most likely some kind of one shot, and remember the number one rule of writing comedy: have fun.

I like options 1, 2, and 3.

I like it the way it is. Not EVERY story needs an arc, and I think that's true for slice of life stuff like this, because life DOESN'T have a story arc, just little bits of things here and there.

Ooooh yeah more support for the HAVE FUN PART!! :pinkiehappy:

anything that involves Anguish the White-fur and is not option 4
