If you regret that my "Change of Life" story is complete, fear not! I do intend to write more about Cogs and his family as inspiration strikes me. The epilogues in the final chapter merely wrap up the story arc and give a taste for what will happen in the future.
Mostly what inspires me to write though is when I see something that bears explanation through storytelling. Cogs' story is an exploration of the mindset of various changelings, their physical capabilities, and their place in Equestrian society. I am not saying that all changelings are like this, any more than all people/ponies are alike, but it does reflect my opinions on what the overall majority would tend to be like. Which is not to say that something entirely different would not make a great read, but I can only write to how I see things working.
