    So, Things

Oh, looky that! I've finally found myself on FimFiction for longer than about five minutes! Astounding. I have 223 story chapters that need read on my library. I have 157 notifications and over 6k updates in my feed. That's gonna be a daunting task, I feel.

Concerning the three 'R's of Valkyrie

Okay, so. Since I am getting really quite tired of readers telling (or sometimes asking, though rarely) me that I need to change how this little bit of my world works, I'm just going to post this little blog to clear the air once and for all.

Gah! My hand is cramping! (Unity) · 3:04am Dec 15th, 2013

Okay, well. First of all. Changed my username a bit. Finally got around to adding Flicka's last name to my FimFiction username. Not super important, really, but something I've been meaning to do for a while now.

Secondly, for those following Peacekeepers: The fiction is not dead but I'll go ahead and come clean on the reason for the huge update delay. I managed to lose the vast majority of the stuff I had planned out for Peacekeepers. Not sure how, either. One day it was all saved to My Drive in Google, the next it was all gone. All of my ideas, ones I had planned to implement and otherwise, all gone. POOF! So yea. That really annoyed the heck out of me. Which, ironically, is also one of the reasons why I simply do not ever actually plan out my fictions. Something always goes wrong with even the best laid of plans, so normally I just let the fictions go wherever they chose to go. Remember what happened with Unity, how I finally just lost my drive for it? That was a result of me trying to plan stuff out, and then trying to cram too many "planned" ideas into one fiction at once. So yea, no more. Some authors might call it unorthodox, but at this point I cannot really say I care. No more planning stuff out for fictions.

On a related note, despite the fact that my hand is cramping and that I restarted the entire thing too many times to count, it is now here: Unyielding

The long awaited fiction designed to be finally replacing Unity. The direction Unyielding is starting off in was the direction I had wanted to take Unity in before i had even started writing it, but, for various excuses I cannot even recall now, I decided not to. Well, seeing as how unsatisfied I am with Unity, I'm really wishing I had started that fiction like I am Unyielding. And yea, I expect there's gonna be a lot of crying about me cancelling Unity and deleting it-- well, only thing I can tell you is to simply get over it. What's done is done, and if you don't like it then just stop following my fictions before you end up giving me a massive headache.

Cheers, everyone!

So are you still going to use the song I sent you for Unity in Unyielding?

As long as RD is in, I'm cool :rainbowdetermined2:

trust me, friend. unorthodox or not making it all up as you go is an amazing way to get a good story. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but it's almost always enjoyable to write. No story is fun if you have a set of plans to write about, even if they're your own plans. though it does has its downsides.
my story gallery is a nice example of that. a few very successful stories, a few that flopped and a few in the middle ground, but over half unfinished. you get ideas and start one story, but as you start to get further into it you start getting ideas that don't quite fit into the universe or storyline you've created for one story so you have to go and start another one to accommodate and so on and so forth.
all you need to start a story is an idea, and that's all you need to finish it too
