Otherwise, this has to be the best episode since the season premiere. The song was fantastic, the moral was fantastic, and Scootaloo lives in a house! I KNOW, RIGHT?! SHE HAS A HOME! That puts to rest all the orphanage bullshit. Though, we never really saw her parents. But oh well. I at least liked how they handled Scootaloo and flying. They didn't fulfill her wish, and I like it like that. It is a message to all people to be fine in their own skin. Don't compare yourself to others, because you will never be like anyone else. You are special because of what you can do, not what you can't.
Definitely rating this a 10/10. It was worth getting up early for. Now, excuse me while I go back to sleep for a couple hours. I want to have the most amount of rest for work today.

I did find the fact that the chorus was the same line repeated four times irritating, but otherwise awesome song!

I don't agree that Scootaloo is an orphan either but it could still be worked in. Afterall, I don't think they're are many orphans in Ponyville. There isn't a need to have some big building. A simple normal house with a couple rooms is all that's needed to house Scoots and like one other orphan.
To the episode, I agree it was good. I enjoyed the song, although I thought it was slightly cheesy in a way and I was expecting a little more development but it was definitely satisfying.

Technically, the argument could be made that that's just her room at the orphanage. There's nothing that says orphanages can't have single occupant rooms.
As for the episode, I'm really glad they didn't fully address the flight issue. I had visions of combing through the wastes of Fimfiction, trying to find stories that didn't have "Scootaloo's father/Dash beat her to the point her wings were permanently damaged" Scootabuse in them.

Yeah, there can always be an argument for them, though I think that her room is a little more expensive than what an orphanage would offer. But meh, it's whatever.
And yeah, I loved how they didn't really do too deeply into her problem. It at least allows people to lean either way.
