Hey there!
You probably noticed that I have finished Apple Scratch toward the World's rewrite.
Glad the rewrite was very well welcomed by you readers (even if some regretted a few past scenes like the Poker game in prison, or Chrysalis trying to impersonate Celestia.... Those concerned know I'm talking about them :p)
Anyway, now that the rewrite is done, I decided to do what my brother suggested a while ago after I first showed him my fanfics... Print the stories in a real book format for my own possession. Now, I know it might sound weird, but I like the idea of keeping a physical track of what I wrote... (So that you know, I'll print only exemplar and only keep it to myself. Well, maybe another copy to give to a friend..... but that's not certain at all,
though that may look like quite a pretentious gift now that I think about....
"Hey, happy Birthday... Here's a book I wrote just for fun and that has no connexion with your personal interests..."
Yeah, let's forget that gift idea :ajsigh:
Now, the main thing is that I need to order a new cover art that fits the regulations in size for the printer's machine...
I already know who I'm going to ask for that.
But I need suggestions for the front cover.
I know I want AJ and Vinyl to be present on it, but I have no idea for a background, poses.. etc...
Any ideas ?
On another note.
I had first planned to have A GTVS SPECIAL for the holiday at the start of the year, but with my planning, and the chapters still needed before Xmas and Newyears eve chapters... (The aftermath of Halloween,Tavi's BDAY, and the Winter Gala) It's going to be hard to make them in time (also I don't want to write them in advance for the holidays, then do the chapters in between Halloween and Xmas. that'd break the rhythm of the series and people wouldn't get it.)
That's all I wanted to say.
Oh, yeah, and There's an update for Scratchin' thieves for those who're interested.
and as well as for CK's prequel story in the Apple Scratch Verse.

Which story is it exactly that you want printed? Is it Towards The World?

Hmm I might give you an idea on the cover. Maybe on one side show a tiny applejack facing the giant, except you can only see it by its eyes. Then on the second half show vinyl with her glasses on, a magical orb in her hand defending Octavia. At least that's an epic cover I can think up.
Maybe for a normal cover, maybe show vinyl & AJ standing together with their arms over their shoulders. On one side behind them show a few members of the Council of Harmony, then on the opposite side show the changelings.
I can go on all day in imagining book covers.

Funny the day i printed out the rewrite you posted this, what timing! Now i have the old one and the rewrite in paper back form! Yay!
