Essay for my novel. (Sorry it's not MLP related) · 9:52am Jan 26th, 2019
Hello guys,
It has been a while.
So I stated in my last blog post quite some time ago,
I have been focusing on my own novel Project. After months of World Building, I'm now beginning to write some actual novelization content. Both as practice essay and as a mean to introduce some elements of the world I created as well as a testing how those elements hold together.
The first of those essay is now on my DeviantArt page and I'd like to share it with you guys.
I know most of you are probably here for MLP content, so I won't mind if you don't check it out.
But if you're interested in my attempts at creating a fantasy world and story, I hope you'll give "The Council of Wealdham" a chance.
It doesn't look that fantasy that much, but I hope you'll bear with me until I get to publishing the most fantasy-like content!
So there you have it,
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see your comments on my DeviantArt page.
Best regards,
Mariacheat.
PS : Still no fan fiction update on the way I'm afraid. (at least nothing of concrete!)
thanks for letting us know
I tried reading it but there was so much going on with the amount of characters being introduced and the politics of what they were discussing that I couldn't follow along with the story. And with so many characters and so little information about any of them I couldn't really find a reason to care about what was happening, and I stopped reading about a quarter of the way through, sorry.

thanks for the feedback.
I probably should have realized that while I have my character sheets, you guys don't.... So it's probably a bad attempt at introducing character....(It's clear that I'm more used to fanfics where the mains characters are somewhat known by the readers from the get go.... Oh well, that's why I wrote that essay first!)

So how’s your novel coming along?

slow, but none of the less steady.
I have created most of the characters relevant to the main storyline (and plenty of background characters) and I'm almost done with most of the world building.
I'm trying to come with sort of character shorts to introduce some concept here and there... I will probably post them on my DA whenever I feel they're done well enough for the public.

That’s good that you haven’t hit a block at least. I was wondering, with MLP coming to close, are you going to keep your mlp stories unfinished or do you plan on continuing/finishing them after your novel?

I will certainly try to finish GTVS at least... (Apple Scratch Saga, probably not as some concepts from there will be recycled for my novel plan)

Ok cool. I look forward to reading your novel (when it’s done) and reading future installments of GTVS when you get around to it
Good luck to you.
Glad to hear your doing your own projects now! This is probably the only blog post of yours I've ever read, but I'm walking through a memory lane of my favourite MLP FFs, and as GTVS is one of my all time favourites (seriously, I obsessively tracked your writing process xD) I just had to check out what your up to rn.
I'll look forward to seeing what world you have cooked up. Good luck, and much thanks for all the great MLP Stories, which have always brightened my days!
