Yeah, yeah, I know that date is wrong, 
The official release isn't until the 14th, but this weekend there are a number of pre-release parties going down across North America. My wife and I are gonna be hitting up the one at King's Games in NYC, and I hear tell that Cups- EQD's official CCG guru- is going to make an appearance as well.
If you're in the area and are planning to check out the new CCG, or even if you just want to meet some fellow bronies, come on down to Brooklyn this Saturday!

It's the official Collectible Card Game from Enterplay (the same folks who put out the trading cards) and some of the associated stuff at Hot Topic). They announced it at BronyCon this year and I think did some playtesting at GameCon, but I can't recall exactly. The best place to find info about it at this point is EQD.

Unfortunately I think I'm going into the city from the opposite direction; I'm sailing downriver on the Hudson (read: taking the train from Albany) as opposed to sailing up the coast from the Caribbean, so I think picking you up might be kinda hard,
