Seriously, they would never do that in a children's T.V. show (don't argue, they just wouldn't). While I know they love giving everypony fan service, that would never happen. Anything sexual in general is a no-go, but making it a homosexual thing would likely be the death of something within the company. Not saying that I see a problem, it's just that that's the real world. *insert shrugpony*

This season we had big moments for TwiDash (Lesson Zero), AppleDash (Mare Do Well), RariJack (It's About Time), RariSpike (duh), and a bunch of minor moments otherwise.
But FlutterDash? Holy crap. SO MUCH FLUTTERDASH. All season long.

See, I never saw Dash as being a bitch to FS. All of their interactions in S1 seemed completely understandable to me.

Also, I strongly dislike the overall concept of estrus in ponies, but it does fit into part of my "headfanon".
Basically every pony in Equestria is universally bisexual (but with preferences), ponies are sexually receptive all year round, but can only get pregnant during a 3 week period every year, allowing for as much "fun" as they want the rest of the year round. And just to fuel shipping, all ponies are partially pansexual, much of their physical attraction being based on emotional attraction.

Most herd species like Equines, Cattle, Elephants, etc go into seasonal estrus which only occurs at a certain time of year. Other types of creatures go into "heat" or ovulate regularly unless they are currently or recently pregnant.

And the spiel above is just my fanon reconciliation view.
As far as my opinion on canon goes I just view the ponies as horse shaped humans. Period.
