She's still a quadruped, so she bigger and masses more then your average adult human. Now sure, if she's only five or six feet tall it might not be "bone crushing" and only "somewhat uncomfortable."

And now I have a vision of her accidentally poking someones eye out with that thing when she goes in for a kiss. Which immediately translated to a depressed Celestia because she yet again killed her new boyfriend/girlfriend because she's actually a bit clumsy when you come down to it, and now she has to hide the body before Luna finds out and teases her forever about it. "Awww not again! How will I ever fulfill my bipedal fetish at this rate! Maybe I can just pretend to be a pegasus or something when the next one stumbles through a portal."
