I'm not dead! Just moving.
Writing has been going slow lately on account of my moving into a new apartment, but, lo, I am moved! And I got a cute new roommate too.
Progress on Daring Do continues meanwhile. I hope to get the next two chapters done in a marathon writing session this weekend. Meanwhile, just to tide you over, here's a preview of coming attractions from Chapter 1:
I take a breath.
“Stand back everypony, nothing here to see,” I sing, rolling out the notes in my absolutely dazzling mezzo-soprano, the notes so smooth and pure you wanna cuddle up against them. “Just imminent danger, in the middle of it, me.” It’s absurd of course, but it feels so good to sing again, to hear myself the way I should be. I have to laugh, giggle really, even as I turn back to look myself over, flank to fetlock. “So, where is it?” I ask. My back is bare, my sides are bare. “Is it on my neck or something?”
Siren Song is here, mane blowing in the breeze. The day needs her saving expertise!

Do you know how many stories this is going be? Rarity was the clearly the main focus of Siren Song, so does that mean an Element per story or will the others be less prominent?

Two. Each of the other Elements has their own role to play, and I won't say they're less prominent, but Siren and Rarity had something in common. You never forget your first Boss Fight.
