First we'll tackle the heart of this blog post: Fireflies
Now, as some of you may have noticed, and I'm only talking about the really observant folk, there is no real history to Icarus' relationship with the girls. I just, kinda, jumped right in there. No preamble, just BAM! Plot! I am now working on fixing that problem in the only way I know how. By taking down the entire story and doing something totally different in every way...
Wait, no. No, sorry, that's not what I'm doing.
Instead I'm writing a prologue! Yes, that's what it is that I'm doing! I've already got just under 4K words done on it, and Icarus has yet to actually get to Ponyville. It'll be just one chapter of prologue, but it's going to be a pretty damn long prologue. My goal is 12K words, but if it's longer than that I won't really complain. Nor, I expect, will any of you complain. That being said, there's not going to be any forward plot progression until I have the prologue done. And given that I've had just one day worth of writing so far, and I've already got 4K words... Yeah, probably not going to be too long.

I've been talking with one of my fans, Talyn Shadehawk, and he's going to be doing a reading for Fireflies. (Yeah, no pressure or anything.) No release dates as of yet, but he's got some (tentative) plans of doing the entire story, potentially with female voice actors for the female parts. What fun!

I am in need of an editor, or two, who will actually stick with me through the story, since all of my previous editors seem to have lost interest. The past few chapters I have been posting have been going up with a pathetic amount of editing present, if any at all. It's not an absurdly demanding job, but I do set some deadlines once I actually finish a chapter. Usually the weekend following the completion of the chapter, or, at most, four days after I finish it. I'd prefer only serious applicants, who are willing to see this all the way through, since I want to only put out chapters that are the highest possible quality. PM's are preferred for applications. A Skype account isn't necessary, but it will help to facilitate communication.
That's all I've got for now, so I suppose that I'll call it a day here.

Jet, two things. One, I'll edit again. Two, you never shared the new docs with me. Thought you didn't need me anymore dude! Anyway, share it with I and I, and I'll edit for you again.
Quick question. Are you just going to be focusing on Fireflies for now, or are you ever going to get around to doing some of your other stories. I'm sure there are better people for it, but if you really need help i'm willing to help you out.
