"Equestria Girls" doesn't look half bad now that the trailer has been released.
Not that many things irk me now that I've seen it, however there are a few things...
• Spike is a dog. So it's official. I can't even. If he isn't a talking dog, someone's getting slapped. Spike should've been like an eight year old kid, but if he's a dog, then I want him to at least have some kinda role by putting in his two sense.
• Rarity (or whoever she is). Waah. Best pony of the Mane Six isn't as fabulous as she always is. *silently cries*
• That red and yellow haired bitch. Who is she and what the hell does she want with Twilight?!
• That blue haired dude. Please don't tell me he's gonna crush on Twilight. I thought that would be hysterical before because I didn't think Hasbro would actually go through with doing something that stupid - but it looks like they are. That's just no no no for me.
• Humans' skin tone. Ok. So, um, looks like humans in the MLP verse either have horrible skin conditions or it's just how they were born, which is kinda freakin' weird.
However, there are some things in the trailer that made me happy, which is great, and kinda lifted my mood for the film.
• Humans' skin tone. Surprisingly, this also cheered me up. At least now the whole freaky thing is out of my mind.
• No wings and/or horns. HALLELUJAH THERE IS A GOD. No freaky anthros! (Apologies to those who like anthro ponies. I heavily dislike them. The image of a pony/horse and a human morphed isn't really pleasant to me.)
• Rainbow Dash (or whoever she is). She actually looks kinda fabulous, but is she like part super human!? I mean, dayum, the way she kicked that soccer ball.
• VINYL SCRATCH WAS THERE HOLY CRAP BEST PONY YES YES YES ASDFGHJKL (if she's wearing a skirt too, I'm gonna kill someone).
• The CMC! Dammit, they're just as adorable. I hope they play a decent sized role in the film :3
• Cutie Marks.

I'm actually now kinda excited for this film. Hopefully, they don't 'eff it up.

I originally thought it was suppose to be a season, not a movie (back when stuff was first said). I said whatever, just like with the finale (I still want OctaScratch to be canon).

I actually thought that it seemed pretty interesting. At least they got rid of the whole anthro concept.
That bit actually raises a few concerns for me.
Admittedly this is just a trailer, and I try not to judge things early like this, but the animation in the tailer seemed really choppy. Especially right at that bit.
Maybe it's something within the animation style that doesn't translate well to the human figure, but the animation in the show always seemed really good to me, so I'm not really sure why the animation here would look as choppy as it does here.
