My computer broke down, and I'm on the iPad today. Either everytime I start it up, it stops after the window logo shows up. Or, half of the screen turns black when I'm running a program. Does anyone here know how to fix this kind of problems?

What OS do you run? Do you have a warranty? Did you call an expert?
Have you tried yelling all the obscenities that you know and some you made up at it?
It sounds like you have some corrupted programming. You may have to get it professionally checked like BusyDreamer stated.

958085 I'm using windows 7. Right now, I'm trying to restore the system to its earlier times. If it doesn't work, I'm going to get help from an expert.
958091 Like I stated above: Either half of the screen goes black while I'm using the computer. Or, the computer stops after it boots. It all started when I was playing Assassin's Creed 3. I don't know what have caused it, since I was playing that game for a month now.
Try doing a manual rebot and check for viruses if that doesn't work try going to a place that can fix it and be sure not to get a free viruse checker they just troll people and add more viruses.
Sounds like video card's driver problem maybe? Have you tried to run it in safe mode? If it was me I tray safe mode and if that doesn't work then tray running from boot disc(I have Linux on my flash :P). That way you can see if thats programing or hardware issue, if it runs fine in safe mode, tray changing screen resolution,reinstalling Driver for your video card/reinstall windows(maybe repair/restore option works). See if your video card isn't full of dust too, that sometimes does weird tings. Otherwise you probably need specialist.

Sorry, I know a couple of things about computers, but I am completely lost when it comes to Ipads and Ipods. Have you tried taking it to some kind of Apple store to get fixed?

My labtop used to do that I never knew why my dad thinks Its cuz I punch my screen but I know thats not the problem windows is a pain in the ass once u had it for 3 years but I havent heard of half the screen going black I would get somebody to look at that
