The Longest Night is slowly but surely approaching the 1k Likes benchmark. This is a crazy and wonderful milestone for me. I can't believe that Longest Night keeps creeping back onto the front-page for Top Rated fics. It isn't right now, mind you, but I saw it as high as Number 6 on the list before its 12th down-vote.
I want to do something special in celebration of the 1k achievement for The Longest Night. I'm thinking that what I should do is the next one-shot/Side-Story set in the Myths setting that The Longest Night kicked off so beautifully those months ago. Sadly, it is no-where near completion and when I looked it (the new side-story) over today I realised that it is lacking that spark and I need to go back to almost square one with it. Since that means a total re-write regardless I just had an idea.
Why not have you guys choose the side story?
Choices are:

A: Velvet Sparkle and how she met Iridia. This could end up a multi-part side-story. It's also what I was already working on and has the most work already done.
B: Something with Bonnie 'Bloodrose' Belle. How she got the Sea Serpent? An Adventure on the Mild Seas complete with chases, plunder, and battle?
C: Something to do with Namyra. This may seem an odd choice for a side-story given the importance of the events for several of the main characters of Myths. Then again, the full, uninterupted story of Namyra isn't something that will be told in Myths, just pieces here and there as in Chapter 9.
D: The War of the Sun and Moon. There are other stories about the falling out between Celestia and Luna, but it is also appropriate given the connection to Longest Night.
E: Something else entirely. Tell me what you'd like to see. Is there something I've mentioned briefly in Myths you'd like expanded? Keep in mind that there are a lot of things that are ground-work for future chapters.
Keep in mind that this could impact the speed future chapters of Myths are written.
I would like to see some of glida's time before joining up with the other gryphons or maybe just some more of them in general. but if you're not gonna post the full story of namyra that would be awesome too.

I agree with Sidvious. I would like to see more about Gilda before she joined the Gryphons again. I actually look forward to the chapters with Gilda in them. Well, if you decide against that I wouldn't mind option D.

Well... I guess there's always the 'chance' of something coming of that in the future. Even if she's just expanded upon in myths instead of given her own sidestory.
