UPDATES and shit!
The Lone Wanderer has seen some shit, but he thought that some semblance of normalcy would return to life eventually. Not so in Wanderer's Diary: Week Fifteen.
In this entry: Little Lamplight, super mutants, and Chinese ghouls.
AND NOW: ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS OF THAT STUPID FUCKING CONTEST I RAN.
It was hard to pick a winner for this, because I'm not one hundred percent satisfied with any of the answers, really. It's hard to come up with a name for my particular brand of insanity. Qualified doctors have tried for years, so expecting Fimfiction users to succeed where they failed may have been somewhat unfair. Nonetheless, some people managed decent proposals.
Fuckin' SUMMARY, man!
Some people, (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) gave me a whole bunch of Chess Games of the Gods parody names. Which would be great and all if I were making a Chess Games of the Gods parody series, but I'm not. I'm parodying everything else. You guys know I love you, and your suggestions did admittedly make me laugh, BUT I DON'T GIVE A FU-

Another popular suggestion was the "Of X and Y" template. I know that sounded good when Of Mice and Men did it, but seriously, look around sometime. You'd be surprised how many other stories there are out there that have that title structure. It's no longer clever or original, and if you're planning to use a title like that for a fic of your own, I recommend you don't. It's not as big a turn-off for a reader as, say, using a Swastika for the story image, but for God's sake just don't do it. It may sound nice to you, but other people have already done it too much for it to have the same impact. You can come up with a better title.
Other things I cannot use:
-Things with spoilers in the title, e.g. "Howardverse".
-Things that make it sound like a work of self-insertion, e.g. "Dannyverse".
-Things named after specific characters or story elements that won't be in all the stories set in this verse, e.g. "Secopolis".
The last one especially wouldn't work because Secopolis is already going to be the name of Human's sequel.
And it's precisely because of that sequel, the events that happen in it, and even some of the things that happen towards the end of Human which is why a lot of these wouldn't work. I'm trying to find a name that perfectly describes this world, but the fact is that the world isn't even fully formed yet. Human and Shades both still have a few more bombshells to drop before we can think of a perfect name for the irradiated wasteland that will result. I'm thinking maybe I should have left this whole contest thing until Human was nearing its conclusion.
Whatever though. I've got to live with my mistakes, pick a winner, and give the prize to the person who did the best considering my poor directions and lack of forethought.
With that in mind, Theatre of the Elder Gods is the closest the entries came to my ideal name, though I'm on the fence about whether I'll actually use it. And that makes Mr. Spiffy our winner. Congratulations, Spiffy. You get a preview of the next instalment of your choice of story. The options are of course Human, Van Helsing, Wanderer's Diary or Twilight, Season One. Though I'm pretty sure I know what you're going to pick anyway.

For the record, the runners up were Garion's Tinkering of Mad Gods, Someother Pony's All the world's a stage and World of Written Destiny, and BananaHalibut's beautifully simple Metaverse, which would not have worked for a number of reasons but is the only one that uses "verse" in some way that I thought was effective.

Hey, guys? Want me to make a prediction of my own about the future of the show? I predict that from now on, every season premier and finale where something big happens will have a vocal minority of morons saying that it's the end of the show from the moment it's announced to the moment it airs and shuts them up. I'll gladly eat my words if the finale really does turn out to be shit, but for Christ's sake people, reign it in a little. The status quo has been fucked with before to no ill effect. You can't possibly be this bad at basic pattern recognition.

No idea when anything's going to happen. Waiting on Draven to help finish TS1, also helping him with Shades, and Human's experiencing delays, but on the plus side, Van Helsing's release looms ever closer.

My idea for the name wasn't that original anyway so I'm also glad I didn't get runner up for it and if I did I have power armor, chainsword and a bolter at the ready.
And yeah my fears have come true but even though I already dread it I will not judge until it comes out and I will gladly eat my own words if it does turn out good but I swear if it's gonna be bad (at least from my personal view) I will not like the show as much anymore. But I won't leave the fandom like some overreacting assholes.
Anyway I won't bitch about it for now and will now gladly tell you that I have finnished Fallout: Equestria and am now on Chapter 37 of Project Horizons. I gotta say it's fucking amazing, while Project Horizons is pretty fucking depressing at times it's still awesome.
I have to ask has anything from Fallout: Equestria inspired you to put into Human?

Buckshot was very Calamity-inspired, even though he was a minor villain who died less than a chapter after his introduction. Since FOE got me into original Fallout, I guess you can also say that any of the Fallout elements seen in Human can be indirectly said to have been inspired by FOE.
And glad to see I've convinced you to give the finale a chance. Be optimistic. It may turn out better than you'd think. Have some faith in Studio B.

Doesn't change the fact that I still dread it and don't worry I have faith in the studio. But I have one major issue with this is what's the point other than just marketing? Does Celestia want Twi to run the country or something? I'm pretty sure Luna could do on her own if Cel was able to for a thousand years. Ok yeah Cadence was also just marketing and they pulled it off so I'll just wait till it's out. I can't fault the studio for Hasbros stupid marketing but what I fear most though is that Hasbro is gonna come up with something so bad and stupid that not even the studio can pull off. I just don't want it to go to like G1 was where marketing shaped the cartoon not the other way around.

I think we've already seen enough of FIM to know that marketing mandates are usually implemented fairly well. If they can take a directive like "We want a pink alicorn princess and a royal wedding set-up" and produce a two parter in which Canterlot is invaded by an army of shapeshifting monsters, then there's no possible reason to think that they can't make alicorn Twilight work. It's even being written by the same writer who handled both Luna Eclipsed and Magic Duel, and that sounds like a ringing endorsement to me.
Besides, I'm pretty sure I heard in an interview somewhere that it's more often than not the show writers that come up with this stuff and the marketing guys who turn it into toys rather than vice versa. For all you know, this could have been the plan from the start.
As for my take on the two stories, that would be a very long review, for both of them, and there's really nothing that can be said that hasn't already been said by other people. To just give it real quick though, the original was a very well crafted read with a lot of forethought put into it and told a satisfying tale, with my only gripes being that it deliberately left unanswered questions despite the author having no intention to ever create side stories or sequels to answer them.
Horizons I like for all different reasons, particularly because it managed to be very original while keeping the same formula as its inspiration and using elements from it without rehashing anything, and the sheer balls-to-the-wall insanity and OTTness of its action set pieces, comedy, and the dark depths to which it can sink all appeal to my love of the lavishly ludicrous. And I strongly suspect that it will also answer the questions left ambiguous by the original, since it very cleverly weaves its narrative between it, and I look forward to it doing so. I consider Horizons to be the definitive FOE canon outside of the original story itself.

Let's be honest without the OIA and it's Director the ministries wouldn't have worked out and everything wouldn't have been blown to shit and the Director of the OIA knew that it would blow up cause the ones put in charge of the ministries had no clue what they were doing without him the zebra would have ruled Equestria and everything would've been good cause I'm fairly certain the zebra wouldn't be tyrants.

What can I say? Both well rounded characters and fun to read about, each with their own flaws and strengths and who happen to experience a lot of interesting events. Could have done with more from Homage seeing as Pip is away from her for large segments of the story, so the relationship there isn't as developed as Blackjack and Glory's, but I'm really nitpicking here.

And Blakcjack and Glory are so adorable. Also have you actually read any other side story like Pink Eyes and Heroes? If so are they in your opinion good?

I have indeed read both and done some mini reviews in some author's notes sections of Human I believe. Or I may have just linked them. They are worth your time though, definitely. The grammar isn't up to the standard of either of the other two, especially for Pink Eyes, but they're very grand adventures in their own rights, and Pink Eyes is just hilarious at times. Really though, the fact that they got their own posts should tell you that they're worth it right away.
If there's any FOE side-story that needs a recommendation from me though, it's Starlight Tinker's Just Like Clockwork. I saw the premise of the thing, a crossover between Fallout Equestria and Doctor Whooves, and I thought it was simultaneously the most awesome idea ever conceived, and that it couldn't possibly be any good because no writer in this fandom could do that concept justice. And in defiance of all my initial expectations, it's a goddamn masterpiece. It's like if you went into the season three finale and found that it was secretly the Citizen Kane of animation all along. I was just blown away.

Its not about winning, its about the story. This story, the first one I ever tried that was called fanfiction. This story that have been a roller-coaster of insanity that has made me think in some very bizarre directions and have some amazing dreams. It has never been about winning. It was about the possibility of helping you. A man I respect greatly for making me laugh a little too hard at herpes jokes and the like.
You can keep StageWrite in consideration when the times comes. I thought about what were the good suggestions and meta, plays, and written words, were a common theme. So, it just came to me.
