I know I posted a blog already today, but you're getting two. Here to announce that I have a review group created just so I can read all your great stories and review them happily.

Do the Recommendation Blogs Stop?
No. I think that'll be strictly for people who want to see fics that I've read recently outside of the review group. For those who would like reviews, you need to check out the group (and when the queue is clear), submit your fics. I'll post on the forum group thread when it's open.

I think having the group is a good idea, but I think marking the group as NSFW isn’t a good idea. It’s better to make a specific NSFW category for stories rather than marking the whole group as NSFW, as that can be a bit off-putting to some people (especially if they don’t want to use the NSFW filter).

I see where you're getting with this, unfortunately:
Knighty has made that not a thing. It's required if I'm going to rate mature-rated fics, and I do have a couple in my backlog. I think I'll try and implement something though for those who are uncomfortable with NSFW stories being intermixed. Good thought just Fimfic requires it regardless.

Well then, about half the communities on the site need to be updated, then.
I just wish there was a “NSFW - sex” option and a “NSFW - dark” option instead. I don’t like turning on the M-rating just to see fifty porn stories on the front page.

You know, I agree. I think the reason why you're seeing most groups on the site not having that tag is because they can have the group SFW but the group can contain NSFW stories (at least from what I've gathered). It's a bit complicated, and it confuses me as well. Basically, I'm making it NSFW so that way when people join, they understand what stories may appear in the group.
