It's that time again!
I mentioned I'd be participating again this year and I didn't lie. What is the Summer Sin event, you might ask? I'll quote from the promotional threads going up all over the NSFW portion of the site directly:
The Summer Sin Celebration is a yearly tradition on Fimfiction to do a site-wide clopfic exchange collaboration 'Secret Santa' style. This event was born to be an M-rated version of Jinglemas in the summer!
There ya go! Pretty simple, eh? A lot of you guys still follow me because I write clopfiction so you should enjoy the flood of free fap material pouring in again this year. But folks, I want you to do more than simply be a civilian of the federation but to do your duty as a proud citizen by participating this year.
Failure to do so will result in the bugs winning. And we don't want that.
"But AJ Aficionado, you washed-up has-been Shakespearacles orbiter", you might say. "Surely you don't want me to write. I'm not any good at it. I'll only make a fool of myself."
That's where you're wrong, kiddo. You see, this isn't some contest. No one is voting on winners and losers — though if they were, I did 'win' back in 2021. Just sayin' 
. Summer Sin is not an invitation to embarrass yourself; it's an opportunity to make friends, participate in the wider community functions and be more than a simple lurker. And if you've always secretly wanted to learn how to write and been too skittish to try, this is a great way to make connections and improve your writing game. And we all want to do better, do we not?
All of us writers were readers at one point and all of us readers wanted at some point to write. We wanted to leave our mark on the world through our shared language of English. I'm here to tell you that can be you. You, god damn it!
