Bad Dragon

I write so that one day I may finally stop writing and be free, but these damn new ideas keep finding ways into my brain. I need to write more to vent them out!

My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale 🦄 S2 E06 Swirlpool Starlight | Full Episode MLP G5 (my commentary) · 4:13pm February 15th

We start off with filthy Misty. Instead of covering up the filled outhouse, she decided to bathe in the filth. And she dragged her friend Izzy with her.
It all starts shaking when Misty farts.
Misty then dunks her head in the fecal matter so that she won't scare Breezies with her ugly snout. Good thinking, Misty.
Violet Rainbow comes along, but she doesn't want to take a bath because she's already half-covered with shit. Why is she called Rainbow, though? I don't think the fecal-brown color is part of a rainbow.
Brezies merge. We have fusion. Reaction going critical.
Violet isn't just messed up on the outside. She's schizophrenic on the inside as well. She starts hearing voices.
The pond tries to clean her, but the stains are just too persistent.
Izzy Moonbow is next on the (brain)washing list.
Turns out it was just a virus.exe, and Izzy fell for it. Now all her data was uploaded to Breezy hackers and they'll extort her with it.
Izzy learns that in the future, she'll create a magical head.
Izzy plans to create AGI that will find the answer to the question of the Universe, life, and everything. Or genocide everypony. One or the other.
Misty Brightdawn feels nervous, but after a few touches, she gets into it.
Turns out Misty still sucks.
Violet Rainbow has a speech, "Just because you do bad things, doesn't mean you're Bad Dragon." - Wait, but I am Bad Dragon...
Doing the same thing again and expecting different results is the path to success. Or insanity. One or the other.
The Universe tried to turn Misty into an Alicorn, but it turns out that you simply can't polish a turd.
"It was amazing," Misty said. "Too bad I'm not amazing."

*Episode starts*

Not even two seconds in and we're already assaulted with some form of abnormality to a scene that we barely have time to register. These 5 minute episodes are killing the submersion into this world.

Violette Rainbow: This is the Swirlpool Starlight! Every 10 years, all the Breezies gather and combine their magic in a special ceremony. Anypony who witnesses it is forever changed when the Breezies' magic looks into their hearts!

First off... God, I would hate animating this character. The platform kinda helps, but those spots would be so difficult to keep track of on this 2D plain. Second, stop leading us on with these names that make us think that we're in for something from G4. It could've been called 'Swirlpool Selflect' (I'll get to its meaning in a moment). Three, what do you mean every 10 years? Breezies were deemed as a myth by you guys only until recently. Stories were spoken, sure, but you're really pushing on the believability of this event writers (though it would explain why she's the only one enticed enough to witness this event). Four, why do Breezies do this? What meaning is there for them to do this once a decade? And five... aw great, a recap episode.

*Misty relives her past memories that haunts her.*

This is the start of Coprolalia for her. I should know, I'm often haunted by my past actions, and it somehow developed into my swearing out of nowhere. ...really wish I was joking, but that would just add fuel to the fire.

"It was amazing," Misty said. "Too bad I'm not amazing."

She'll likely say that last part in the next episode before some cheesy talk changes her mind, and then reverts back once more to do it all over again. Repeating. And repeating.

...there you go, there's your setup to point out that Misty is undergoing insanity.

5768241 Let's not forget that 10 years ago, there was no magic in Equestria.

And yeah, I really hate that about Misty. She's like Fluttershy, never learning anything. Or learning and forgetting by the next episode.
