Saturday 14:30-15:30 in Pegasus B - Fallout Equestria: Murky Number Seven - Author's Panel
Con Description: On his first ever visit to a con in the U.S., Murky Number Seven’s author Fuzzy will be on hand to explain just what goes into writing a 1.1 million word story and offer Q&A on the story itself!
This one kind of blew my mind to be honest. I've been on panels before but never one centred on a creation of mine. Startled I got asked by attendees from last year, flabbergasted I got accepted. Anyone who is into MN7, or FOE in general come by! I'd love to see you all.
Saturday 21:15-22:45 in Cumberland LK - Writer’s Workshop: The Blind Brainstorm!
Con Description: Got an awesome idea but can’t make it stand out from the crowd? This workshop is focused all on helping your story get the best start it can to hook readers in, with the assistance of an interactive comedy game and two authors who have had their fandom stories printed and sold around the world: Fuzzy (Murky Number Seven) and CaptainHoers (Duck & Cover).
This is one I and Hoers have run before in Europe and it always goes down a blast. How to write a synopsis, how to make chapter 1 keep your readers reading, and a comedic game at the latter half to give you all a chance to try it out with some of the zaniest prompts you'll ever encounter... because even we don't know what they'll be. That's RNG baby!
