2024 Plans!

Hey folks!

With the New Year upon us, I've had the chance to deal with the stresses of winding down work for the Holiday season, the stresses of spending the Holiday season with family, and the stresses of returning back to work after the Holiday season.

In short? A fun Holiday season!

Though on a serious note, it was some good time spent off, and I got some much needed time to relax. Now onto new stuff!

First things first, we'll address the tagged story here. Little Donkey!

Next chapter all finished, giving it some once-overs and editing, making sure I'm happy with it, and planning to release it tomorrow. The following chapter is about one-third of the way done, and planning for it to be ready the Sunday after tomorrow. That will get us, roughly, to the halfway point of it. At least according to how I've got the story mapped out. Chapter release days will all be Sundays, but the release schedule will be on an 'as-and-when' basis. As in, as-and-when I get the time and energy to work on it.

The downtime has also aided me in brainstorming story ideas, I've got some rough outlines written down, and it's just a case of fleshing out specifics. Rough teasers for what I've got are:

• Vinyl & Octavia, random comedy, non-canon one-shot sequel to On The Rocks Done!
• Applejack, sci-fi adventure, solo story set in Wonderbirds universe
• Coco Pommel, dark slice-of-life, details TBD
• Lyra, dark drama, details TBD
• Spitfire, sad drama, details TBD
• Rainbow Dash, sad drama, details TBD
• Scootaloo, uplifting slice-of-life, details TBD Done!

I recognise some common themes there, but these are just the ideas I've got written down at the moment. I do so enjoy flexing my chops for comedy from time to time, and hopefully those will also be prevalent in-between pre-existing ideas.

Beyond the two chapters mentioned previously, I have no set timeline for when anything else is coming out. On top of a labour-intensive day job (Monday-Saturday), I also have two D&D campaigns (running one, playing one), and am staff for ConFuzzled (a UK furry convention) which takes place in May, and will take up gradually more and more of my time in the run-up to it. And on top of all that, I also need chill time to unwind.

But story writing is a creative outlet I enjoy nonetheless, so when I do release stuff, it'll be on my own time.

And as one last side note, I've decided to dip my toes in the realm of Ko-Fi accounts, and have opened one here. It is absolutely not a necessity to make me write more, but if you appreciate my work and would like to drop a tip, then the option is there.
