Taking A Break · 7:29pm February 15th
Hey Folks,
Title really summarises it, I'm going on a bit of a breather from writing for a while, really struggling to have enough spoons lately.
The short story is: I was involved in a collision while driving my car.
First and foremost: nobody was hurt. Damage to both cars was minor, slight dents and scratches. Unfortunately, the difficulty right now is in dealing with the insurance. A difficulty compounded by the fact that we're both saying we went through green lights, so now it's currently up to the insurers to deem liability, and the stress of everything being up in the air is not doing me any good.
No witnesses. No CCTV. My word against his.
Guys: if you drive, get a dashcam. It could have backed me up.
I'm learning this lesson the hard way, which is coincidentally the much more expensive way.
So, yeah. The stress of being out of pocket by a significant amount of money (woo high excess on car insurance) over something that wasn't my fault, it's getting to me at the moment. So, yeah, no new words coming from me until I get my head on straight. Sorry.
