So, I really don’t know how much I’m going to say in this blog post but my life is on the up-and-up atm and I wanted to share it. Not much has happened but what has happened makes me excited just thinking about it.
I officially have compiled enough tracks to create an album, and that’s currently going out. I don’t know when but most of it is songs I’ve already created anyways (Erinn Rose on YouTube and Spotify). So you can always check that out when you want to. That’s the first exciting thing that’s happened. My energy has been boundless on working on creative stuff lately.
That’s partially because of the entire reason I made this blog post.
I’m officially on HRT!
Monday last week, I found a public transportation route to my local informed consent place, and I walked out of the house and rode there to set up an appointment. I was actually prepared for anything that’d happen but my parents were surprisingly cool about it and I was able to use my mom’s insurance to get some estrogen.
It’s been 4 (and a half) days since I started HRT and honestly I have never been happier. It’s done nothing (it might be my imagination that my chest aches a little), but just knowing I’m on it has given a sort of hyper goblin energy to me that is I think me unrestrained. Honestly, it makes me so happy, both the estrogen and the new “hyper goblin” energy.
I also know it’s only going to get better and better, so I truly believe the only place I can go from here is up. Well, barring any unforeseen circumstances of course (but they won’t be estrogen p-related).
My relationship with my parents has grown stronger because of this, and while I will admit it’s been surprisingly easy, at least I’m on hormones now.
I’m linking Zephyrina/Zipp to rub this into transphobes’ faces. Never been happier and I can only get better from here.
