And hopefull the Mane 7 will finally realize that Spidey and Peter are worthy of respect.
Ayo, why does this look like the mane 7 is on my boi Spidey? And who is in the scorpion suit? Is that Adagio?
Will Twilight and Rainbow Dash finally stop having sticks up their asses, finally get the character development they should’ve gotten since the Friendship Games and stop being envious hypocritical tsundare jerks to Peter Parker or Spider-Man?
And before you start yes Peter wasn’t the most social and said some things they people would consider insensitive and should’ve thought of the long term consequences but it’s no worse than what those two keep doing with their attitude and it’s just getting annoying that it’s taking them this long to get it through their thick heads cause it’s starting to make them less likable after each story and I feel like they’re to good of characters for that.

Well I can safely say if you’ve caught up that Rainbow Dash and Sci-Twi are after our Spider-Boi while Fluttershy isn’t and everyone else are neutral and more focused on Scorpion(and I don’t think that’s the Sunset Shimmer they know in the background), the former to satisfy her butthurt ego since their loss against the Man-Spider and the latter for wanting to exploit Spidey’s genetics for her scientific curiosity and misjudged belief that he doesn’t deserve his powers what she thinks he’s doing is irresponsible misuse which is hypocritical of her considering the last time she used great power she almost recklessly tore the dimensions apart in corrupted mindset, she clearly didn’t learn from Dr. Strange’s lecturing or realize she’s no better after the friendship games.
It seems I was right with Rainbow using her powers to get revenge on Spidey for the humiliation she suffered and Sci-Twi likely will join her. Maybe Rarity, but IDK. Pinkie and AJ I think would be neutral and focused more on Gargan and Fluttershy would pf course try to stop Rainbow, maybe finally standing up to her and perhaps even having a little fight of their own. I didn't notice before, but that Sunset in the back looks like the HUMAN Sunset (who apparently is a mutant). Wonder how she will play into all this.

What makes you assume he's fully based on Spectacular? How about we just wait and see what happens? You don't even know the circumstance of WHY this Kraven transforms to begin with, nor do you fully get Scorpion's entire ordeal. Be patient and watch the tale unfold.

No, I played Spider-Man 2 on day 1... and is the exact reason why I hate it.
1. I love Eddie Brock... but its Harry for the sole reason of "your friend is now the final boss"
2. This Venom acts nothing like Venom... Venom has never been the TAKE OVER THE WORLD type of character. He hates Spider-Man and will do anything to ruin or even kill him... at least for the time as he developed as a character
3. They took elements from recent EDDIE BROCK stories without giving proper credit to the artists and writers...
4. There's really no reason for Harry to even be Venom. Once he bonds with the symbiote, he kind of just disappears from the story... but it becomes confusing cause is it the suit controlling Harry? Is Harry the true mastermind? Again, nothing is cleared up. Harry is just evil now out of nowhere cause Peter was a dick...
5. This version of Venom, while he looks amazing... is incredibly boring as a character. Its like they literally just took a look at him and saw "MONSTER"... and thats it, thats is character, evil monster taking over the world who is also your best friend cause Insomniac can't make one game without having the final battle be your former friend for drama...
On the other hand, you have Midnight Suns which probably has THE best modern adaptation of Eddie/Venom... and he still looks great!
THATS... why I think Harry as Venom... is stupid, and in this world, would make no sense when we have an established Eddie... but so far, no Harry

With all due respect, I have to disagree. In my honest opinion, Harry as Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a unique take on the character. Just because it isn't Eddie Brock and this version of Venom isn't exactly the same as the comics doesn't mean its a bad thing, it depends on how the idea is executed (which the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon pathetically failed on that). I think it makes the relationship between Peter, Harry and the Symbiote much more personal. Like even after Peter refused to give Harry back the Symbiote, both while under its influence and then after rejecting it, Harry still wants his best friend at his side so they can "heal the world" together. The Symbiote still wants Peter even after being rejected, but if it can't have him then no one will.
The Symbiote feeds off from and exploits its host's negative feelings and insecurities, twisting and corrupting their desires and personality (eg. making Peter more violent and aggressive and twisting Harry's dream of healing the world by giving him the idea to make everyone Symbiotes) and eventually their appearance as well. If Peter hadn't been saved by Miles, he would've eventually ended up looking like Venom. As for why Harry was being angsty, it was established by Connors that the Symbiote leaves traces of itself in its host to make it easier to re-bond with the host should it be separated. Harry was basically acting like a drug addict going through withdrawal symptoms, with his relapsing disease making it worse, and the Black Suit/Venom story itself is an allegory of what an addiction can do to you.
Not saying that it is without flaws. That's just my open-minded view on it. But I guess that version just isn't for you. Eddie Brock is the one true Venom after all.
That being said. For the Spiders and Magic story, since Harry hasn't even appeared yet apart from a few mentions and Eddie has already been established as a character starting from Part IV, having Harry as Venom makes no sense whatsoever. And as Max put it, just copying straight from the game would be lazy. Max clearly has his own idea in mind, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
