Some of you may have received notifications - I don't really know how the system works - but even if not, here's the general announcement to explain it all:
I'm finished.
I don't think it's any sort of secret that I originally came here for the fan fiction; that was really my only actual investment in the fandom, and it's paid off for over 11 fantastic years. But it's time for me to face the plain fact that the magic is gone. I think it started leaving about 5 years ago, honestly, when GreyGuardPony passed away. Besides being the one person that I (not on purpose) got hooked on FiM, and probably my favorite author on the site, Guardy was also my best friend; turns out I had a lot more tied up in that friendship than I thought, and now that spark of inspiration is gone.
Stories I had here that were flagged either incomplete or on hiatus have been updated to cancelled; I'm not going to finish them. I have one more that is almost totally completed, and I may get around to finishing and publishing it, but it's going to be the last one. I have 246 unread chapters on my bookshelf, and I believe they will stay unread. Such is the way of things. I imagine I'll hop back occasionally to check for messages, but it's likely to be a long time between replies. A lot has happened in 11 years, and I've met some wonderful people, but all good things.

I'm sorry to hear that... but I understand and I really miss Grey too. If her absence is waying heavily on you mind, you can always hit me up here on Fimfic or over on Steam and we can maybe reminisce about the good old times.
