    Behind-the-page: Relapse

    Hiya, lovely peeps!

Welcome to Behind-the-page, the series where I give you background information on my newest release. On today’s spotlight, we have: Relapse!

So, first story on the year on the tail end of April. Suppose I’m going to be a little slow on stories this year as compared to last year. But no matter.

The Absolute Best of Heartstrings - Shelf 1

    Hiya, lovely peeps!

I love the written word. I love books and fanficiton and blogs; I just love reading in general. When I first picked up reading in 2016, I expected stories to be just that - stories. There’s a plot, characters do this and that, reach climax and end plot. I didn’t know that ‘themes’ and ‘depth’ and ‘feels’ were ever in those stories.

I’ve never been glad to more wrong.

    Happy New Year, lovely peeps!

    (A month late, but whatever.)

Six months ago, I made a blog recapping everything I’ve done for the first half of 2023. And since the new year has come, it’s time for the recap of the latter half of the year.

Road To A Hundred · 3:07pm Sep 22nd, 2023

We did, lovely peeps.

We did it.

When I first started writing in May 2020, I never imagined, never dreamed that we would ever grow so much. But our little family kept growing and before I knew it, we hit one hundred.

There a lot of you now. And I would like to express my undying gratitude to each and every one of you.

Thank you so much. Please know I appreciate every view, every upvote, every comment, every bookshelf add and every follow. Please know that I am eternally thankful for your constant support, your helpful critique and your kind praise. It is truly mind-blowing how far we've come and how far we’ve grown.

Special shout out to Aero Liger for being my first follower and TwilightMoon for being my hundredth.

A big part of this hitting this milestone is Ladybugs Awake, which blew up in a way that I could never have predicted. I didn’t think it was that awesome, but numbers don’t lie. With over a hundred upvotes and a 4-day stay in the Featured box, that fic alone boosted my follower count from 92 to 102. Thanks, ya’ll.

With this big milestone comes a few announcements.

We will start with what's most obvious. New avatar. New bio. New user page format. To celebrate 3 years of horsewords, I'm showcasing my achievements and everything we’ve done together. My best stories, my best artworks, my best blogs, are on display for all to see.

Second news - Never Made The Cut. I have reached a point in my journey where I feel comfortable enough to share my most embarrassing works. I'll get into more details in coming days, but what you need to know so far is that the first chapter is my first attempt at ponyfic ever. It's okay; you can laugh at how cringe it is.

And finally, we get to the biggest, most important news...

I have a Patreon!

You can now support me and my endeavors financially. It’s $3, ya’ll, and that’s all it’ll ever be. Your sponsorship will help me craft more stories and create more art, giving you even more content to enjoy. Your name will be front and center on my user page and at the end of each of my stories. Your support means the world to me, lovely peeps.

To reiterate what I said earlier - thank you. For your love, for your support, for your praise. Thank you for giving me the motivation and the will to create. And thank you for sticking with me all this time.

I would forward to many more adventures together.

And please know, you’re the inspiration behind everything I do.
